Also you don't take dementia tests until you actually show symptoms and we don't know to what extent Trump "passed" merely that he took them and he bragged about it.

Well that's not even close to true. Who the in the hell told you that seniors are supposed to wait until they think they have dementia to have a cognitive screening? Did the same person tell you not to get a checkup until you get sick?

Yeah, when you're over 75 years old and have or are seeking what is allegedly the most consequential job in the world, you should have your cognitive abilities tested, even if it's only to make your opponents look like ridiculous partisans and science deniers with this silly "but but but we don't know if he super duper passed it" and trying to pretend passing it is bad, so instead vote for the guy who is blatantly "showing symptoms" of full blown dementia who's nearly 20 years older than when people should start getting cognitive screenings.

Nobody around Joe will have him take a cognitive test, not just because they know he has no chance of passing, but because they're worried about the real possibility of him giving the wrong answer for basic questions like what year it is. Of course his wife cares more about being on magazine covers than she cares about his health, but the entire administration and all of his handlers would look like complete sociopaths for blowing off years of symptoms to push a guy who's that far gone into running for president.

The test Trump got isn't a routine check, he also claimed that less than 2% of people out there pass it and that it had hard math, when in reality its a simple test whose hardest math part is to count backwards in decrements of 7.
