Tom actually quit. Jones was right.

I will let you poke my eyelids, but I will tell you that I have done that already and although it is uncomfortable, i did NOT lose sight..+
You gotta let somebody do it forcefully knuckle deep when you’re not expecting it. For science. I’m sure a lot of sherbros would be willing to participate in this experiment.

Jon actually quit. Tom got fouled.
and tom is calling LHWs lmao
calling 38 yr old jones and pereira

tom aspinal isnt even a champ
the belt was handed to him
because he wears an interim belt
that was given to him

and jon won a vacant belt and never fought, then quit. whoopee. and he gets boners around little kids. Now's probably a good time to talk him up eh? right after the boner incident

The takes on here are wild. Eye pokes are weird and there is 0 chance you can judge how bad they are or how much damage was done. I have seen eye pokes that looked terrible but the fighter was good to go in a min. Other ones didn't look so bad and guys eyes swelled shut. Look at Dale Earnhearts crash. Didn't seem like a bad crash but he was killed. You have cars flipping 5x and breaking into a million pieces and guys walk out. Whether Tom quit or not it's debatable, but you cannot factually say his eyes were fine. The only facts are both eyes were poked illegally and it is impossible to assess the damage.

It was clearly very competitive when actually watching it too, unless you have an agenda.

It was competitive with one competitor clearly doing more damage and having control of the pace and story of the fight. Body language also told the story.

None of that can be seen in a fucking stat sheet. Please don't fall into the trap of becoming a numbers guy.

You can't judge an eye poke by a replay - the slow mo makes it look nowhere near as bad for starters.

The eye is very sensitive. That slow mo - imagine Gane's movements and force in full flow, he's a 6 ft 5 beast and was tryna fend Aspinall off.

Eye pokes never look as bad as they are. You're talking through your ass. Only the guy who's been poked truly knows.

eyepoke was legit. but i think tom milked it. i think tom didn't like how the fight was going. and i think when they rematch tom will have a different game plan because clearly gane was getting the better of him.

and eye pokes should be an automatic point deduction.

He bloodied his nose with a jab, then the blood smeared around his face. I get that its a bad visual but in terms of actual damage it doesnt take a big strike or anything super dangerous to make someones nose bleed. As for body language, Gane has always been a very relaxed looking fighter while Tom has always been relatively tense looking and aggressive so I dont think all that much can be read into it.

You're the one who zero's in on the nosebleed. What I saw was a lot of other punches landing elsewhere, and they showed a difference in class because Gane was countering Tom and making him miss, disrupting his offense etc. He was in a solid flow and in control while Tom was constantly resetting, missing wildly, getting hit the hardest and the shots he hit Gane with were often poartially blocked or Gane was rolling with them.

Once again, what I just described is not shown on numbers on a stat sheet.

I'm just gonna ask you, have you learned anything now or are you going to continue posting that stat sheet in every thread today to make some kind of point?

It sounds like the stats are just inconvenient for you tbh. Again, it was a competitive short stand up fight that told us nothing about how the rest of the fight was gonna go.

Btw

Ah so you're actually a dumb person I wasted my time on. Got it.

It's ok though, don't let it bother you. I have experience and patience dealing with the less mentally fortunate. Long time ago I used to have a couple workers like you on the assembly line.

It was never a good idea to get angry at a person like you. Instead it is best to just accept your limitations and try to get the best out of your limited mental capacity.

You need a 250lb pro fighter to do it with the intention to gouge.
