I think Gane had like two or three extra significant strikes. Notions of someone winning or losing that fight are pointless. It lasted 4 minutes before the foul ffs.

It was just how Tom looked. Shookology he didn't look confident or happy. Only he really knows. Cyril looked confident and composed. Tom looked shook that his blitzing isn't working. Like he will fall apart. It was only 1 of 5 rounds. Tom looked like he will fall apart.

Strike wise Cyril was winning but nothing major.

Tom didn't quit. Gane performed an unscheduled double open eye fingered bangered that rendered Tom useless for the fight. Aka, cheat button. The question is why was Gane fading so hard and so fast that he resorted to double eye fingered bangered Tom? A bleedy nose isn't breaking someone's face. A bloody nose or gushy lip is some of the dumbest thangs to get wet over. Whereas when Tom was landing on Gane it was senting him flying. Guess I answered my own question on to why Gane was cheating with the double eye fingered bangered on Tom.

I think Tom did some quick math in his head, realized if he stepped out he could fight another day as champ without risk. The fight wasn't the normal Aspinall 1st round fight he was used to, cutting through everyone like butter, which makes me think his cardio does suffer later on and he rather get a second shot at it.

It's pretty obviously this, it's not even that egregious of an offense in my honest opinion.
