The Jon Jones hate is so strong that people disregard logic about the way Aspinall looked in the fight before the eye poke

I believe Jon is the best but matchups make fights.. Cyril looked like shit against Jon and good against Tom.. Tom looked like shit against Cyril, but maybe he looks good against Jon?

Ive seen multiple people on here today say he looked terrible in this fight, and i'm not seeing it at all. By the standards of 99% of HWs in history he still looked very quick and twitchy and moved well, the fact it didnt result in the usual outcome says more about Ganes striking abilities than Tom.

Pink goof said it best (if you can believe that); people were writing Gane off because of the Jones fight.

He was offered a fight for a shit ton of money with Tom and turned it down. Nothing else matters after that, even if you think there's zero percent chance he could beat Jon, it's 100% irrelevant. He had his chance to prove it and he said no.

Tom landed 3 less strikes than Gane and only attempted one takedown. Nothing that we saw in that round definitively said anything about how the fight was going to go. Hopefully we can get the rematch ASAP.

We need the rematch asap. Because if it's gonna be another two or three months. That means Tom gets to fit in another mini fight camp and heal from whatever he's hurt from. My only concern are his eyes. If his eyes are ok. He fights. I don't care about his nose. Even if fragile, it was done that way legally. Hes lucky he gets any time to heal from that. I said November 15th. Which is 3 weeks. Any longer than that plays favorable to Tom.

Ive seen dudes saying Gane stole Toms soul, and was "destroying" him, etc. Fight lasted about 3 minutes before the foul and was anything but some one sided domination, the way Juicehead stans are trying to steer narratives, to rewrite history of their ducking, cheating hero.

Gane and Poatan are very different fighters though. Poatan can dish out more damage but he also cant avoid it anywhere near as effectively as Gane can. Its also possible that Tom wouldnt have been willing to stand and strike with Poatan (as hes already said himself) because of Poatans power, so would have gone to a grappling heavy gameplan from the outset.

Tom's panic takedown on Gane looked so ineffective and weak. Gane just shrugged him off and Gane has terrible TDD. There's no way he gets Alex down and I doubt he can finish him there. Very very overrated fighter is Tom
