Hmm no. Same result but the fight itself went very differently.

Max Vs Aldo 1/2 was Aldo winning round 1 and 2 gassing and getting finished in 3rd via tko GNP.

Alex finished jiri with a head kick the second time. They were similar of course but If you showed me max Vs Aldo two and said it was max Vs Aldo 1, you wouldn't know the difference that's how similar it was

I've been here forever, sport. I don't have any idols. And unlike you munching oreos in your mom's basement, I trained, fought and won MMA fights, cornered guys. Won grappling tournaments.

But by all means little fella, yap some more.
 
This rematch for this fight definitely goes past 2mins, Tom Aspinall shown weaknesses in that bout and struggled with someone with footwork, knows how to properly use their reach, jabs, oblique kicks and honestly Aspinalls cardio is still in question while Ganes we know his cardio and pace is efficient also Aspinall takedowns are mediocre, he needs to learn proper wrestling takedowns and know how to set them up those bomb rushing head first takedowns dont work against someone with footwork, cutting off the cage and clinching might be his best bet but still that will be hard for him.

Anything can happens though and anyone can get caught with knockout blow, especially at HW but with Gane his grappling & Jiu Jitsu might not be on par with Aspinall, but his footwork alone is enough to keep distance for his hips far enough for to nullify Aspinalls takedowns.

Could be wrong, Aspinall might just learn from his mistakes adapt and run through Gane, but given what we’ve seen it’s a 50/50 at this point, although some hardcore Aspinall fans are still adamant that Gane is some bum because Jones beat him on the ground.
 
aspinall wasnt even trying to grapple, he was trying to knock gane out he said many times before in his interviews he believe he has the power to knock anyone out

gane might have a few broken fingers if he doesnt stop his cheap antics this time around, tom is definitely coming a plan for dem eye pokes

I love that people who claim it was close can only show a stat. they cant show a gif of a single good punch that tom landed. Some sources say ganes head got "snapped back" a notable amount of times but i failed to see it.

well I think for tom, he now KNOWS there is levels between their striking. before it may have been suspected. I doubt tom tries his striking as much.
