i don't know, i think both Tom and Gane looked vulnerable. Tom didn't have any defense for the jabs, but Gane looked like he was barely getting out of the way with the punches and literally had his hands at his waist a lot of the times. he was way more defensively sound vs Jon Jones than vs Tom.

watched it 3 times, he never hit gane clean once, gane circling away or rolling with anyshot that landed on his head. Gane is the only one that landed solid flush shots

If Aspinal had landed flush, Gane would be on his back looking at the bright lights. Those eyes pokes saved Gane's life.

I think you're correct and it's sad because I think he is talented. He's already talked a lot about retirement. He's doing it again now and he did it after his knee injury against Blaydes. Plus he's complained a lot about the lack of money he's paid and how that could make him retire.

What i saw was an even match in which gane won the first half but the second half tom was on point..

i forgot about the Youtube channel. Yea he's not super rich or anything but the guy certainly isn't lacking money. I also remember him talking about how he bought a vacation home a little before the Pavlovich fight and that was before all the new sponsorships and YouTube channel.

The macho way of dealing with it may have left him with a win for Gane. If he said he won't stand for his opponents behavior and protested it would have been viewed as a boycott.
