Luff, Khamzat was favored over DDP for the EXACT reasons we saw play out and that I stated before the fight. Which is why I have more $ now than I did prior to the fight. And Aspinall was (and will be if they ever fight) for the reasons I've laid out. I'm mostly poking fun btw. But there's some WWE at play in the UFC, that's for sure. I won't say JJ vs Tom would go like that. But I'd keep my original thought of a 48-47 or 49-46 for Jones until we see them fight. And this one for JJ vs Tom I'm also pretty confident. Tom isn't cracking JJ quickly. JJ would methodically find a way.

DDP was asked by an interviewer " you have said that the scariest moments are when you're in the octagon about to face another man" —> exactly what Aspinall said. When asked about him vs JJ in a q&a , Aspinall said " idk about me and JJ, let's see Chimaev vs DDP, that fight will be the so called biggest fight, tune in on that fight"

DDP was saying " I'll defeat the Boogeyman" ... Same way Tom would say " I'll defeat the Boogeyman".

Tom vs Gane is a better fight to build Tom so JJ get his dominant 5-0 by showing Tom that having BJJ doesn't matter if the TDD isn't good. Tom vs Gane is the proper fight, JJ should join hands with Pereira and Ankalaev if he wants to be really challenged. HW is easy for him. We should take Topuria and Chimaev as examples that when an elite fighter makes weight in a upper class even when fighting opponents bigger than them (like in Chimaev's case), the one coming from the lower weight class smashes.

Topuria vs Charles Oliveira = Alex Pereira vs Tom ... Quick round 1 KO
Khamzat Chimaev vs DDP = JJ vs Tom ... Lacks the striking ability of Alex but takes Aspinall to school by wrestling him only more difficult than vs Gane (Gane is like Whittaker, DDP is the Tom Aspinall).

Which is the gimmick. The duck will get his win over Tom. Like Khamzat turned into an IQ, super calculated, pace aware fighter and beat DDP, who looked clueless while he's one of the fighters before with the biggest IQ... DDP put his hands on Khamzat's shoulders just like Tom put his hands on Jones's shoulders. Dricus had to be asked about "you said you fear a lot having your hands wrapped and standing across the octagon vs another man" —> which is what Tom says in interviews. DDP never said that. "I'll defeat the Boogeyman". DDP taking another line from Tom.

Khamzat saying "JJ is the scariest fighter" and JJ saying "that's a huge compliment from Khamzat, I love Khamzat". When asked if he'd watch the fight, JJ said "absolutely, I'll absolutely watch the fight". Tom was answering, when asked about the biggest fight of the year, pointing to "wait for DDP vs Khamzat", in the context of his fight with JJ being the biggest fight of the UFC. Tom reacting to the fight as well, playing it round by round... DDP also said "I don't want to see Tom vs JJ because I love Aspinall"



That fight was the weirdest fight ever... And preparing you all for JJ vs Tom. Chimaev = JJ = the Boogeyman. DDP = the liked guy, handsome, edgy, badass... putting his hands on Khamzat's shoulders like Tom, saying the same sentences Tom would in the press conference.

Now Khamzat wants to face Pereira. Like JJ wants to face Pereira. Pereira had said before "whether it's JJ or Aspinall, I'm ready for both". Later he changed to "it's JJ or Dricus, one or the other". Since Dricus Aspinall lost, then Pereira gets the one who won, Khamzat Jones...

Because I don't think you're a bad dude and I like that you're passionate. And honestly it's not that you don't know the sport. It's that you let that passion about certain guys cloud your judgement. We all do...but you seem to do it to a pretty extreme level.

We will see whether Alex or Ank wins. Whoever wins, beats up the Charles Aspinall by a dominant 1 round KO and have the fight vs JJ

Topuria vs Chimaev is the biggest and toughest fight for Chimaev —> you get it's not Topuria the LW, but Topuria the LHW

I was generous. Actually, my opinion is that Jon Jones would beat Tom by 3 or 4th round TKO. The Stipe fight can't deceive me in showing what ppl wished. For me right there, I thought worst case it'd be a tough 48-47, but I think that a 49-46 or a 4th round TKO by JJ would happen. I can post an in depth visualization here on how I came to that conclusion and why I think that when they fight, it'd be a 4-1 UD or a late round stoppage. I took notes on many things and built the most likely scenario you'll ever come close to when they fight. I might be wrong but when it comes to certain fights I'm pretty confident.

Jones is retired and I'm quite sure that the UFC has had quite enough of Jines by now with his OBVIOUS ducking of Aspinall because he's scared of losing his alleged (not) perfect record.
He also ducked Ngannou for some reason.

And he dicked around the UFC for a very long time about the Aspinall thing because he knows he might well lose that fight.

Dana and Co. have moved on from the Jones era and I very much doubt they want anything more to do with him.
