Who is the best heavyweight mma fighter? (besides Fedor)

stipe of course, fedor was fighting in a circus most of his fights are freak shows against untrained fighters
Fedor still would’ve done the same thing to non cans though. Every high level opponent he got, he looked just as good. Can’t say Fedor wasn’t something special back then, and he’d beat the current top 5 heavyweights in one night if he were young again. Not Jones, but the circus you were talking about is the UFC heavyweight roster now.

I think Francis is, he proved it with the Stipe rematch on top of what he had already done.

Jon would need to do a lot more as a HW to even consider.

In terms of who I'd pick in a fight prime for prime over most?

Probably Ngannou. Can't really put Jones on the list.. he's had one fight at HW late in his career.

Stipe, Nogueria, DC all good choices

What a stupid list. Pereira has literally never fought in the heavyweight division. Jones only has two fights, and one was against a 70-year-old retired zombie, and he ducked Ngannou and Aspinall.
nganou left the ufc thats stupid
we all saw what gane did to him
and how wide the gap in skills are vs jones

also tom aspinal the great hope
the most well rounded bigger faster new breed mma has a low iq

he should have just went on a takedown like jones hes so well rounded

he cant because theres levels to this
hes not an olympic caliber wrestler yall hoping he was
hes also not a world kickboxing champion yall hope

Just to remember you, Fedor didn't take on the second generation of PRIDE hws, like Werdum, Barnett, Kharitonov, Alistair. Didn't have the rematch with Cro Cop.
Only faced Hunt (not good on the ground at that time, no takedown defense).
Also never faced Igor Vovchanchyn.
He was well rounded for his time, but not fully testet in PRIDE.
Bud he faught them all at the most exciting time in mma and faught the best not to mentioned koing the sitting hw UFC champion and then having a continued streak in strike force before he got to old... Why you would discredit that is beyond me..

The second best he has to be stipe miocic. With his 4 defences.. now and yet to see if francis can beat it...

But francis is definitely my fav other than Fedor.. I do like prime jds and carwin and Werdum lets It forget the cane velasqueeze was a beast.

I just had to go and watch a complete career highlight vid on big nog. Reminded me of how good he was

I mean , just look at the amount of skill

A) Jones
B) Aspinall
C) Ngannou
D) Pereira

I think after Tom failed to get Gane KO'd within the 1st minute, this discussion becomes more even and balanced.

Is it Jones who finished Gane in 2 minutes?
Is it Ngannou who KO'd nearly everyone?
Is it Tom who has MW movement and sub-1 minute KOs?
Is it Pereira, double UFC champion, who was shaking his head at Tom "quitting"?

edit:
- everyone is listing who has the greatest resume. that's not the question.
- the question is who is the BEST fighter.
- therefore, stipe is disqualified even with 4 defenses because he got KO'd by both ngannou and jones.
Cain or Werdum
