Jones has the most rotten legacy of all the all time greats

In a LEGIT Sport, your whole carrer is removed when caught using steroids.
Not only are you a liar you’re a clown. Who actually comes into pro sports fandom like I gotta see if this is clean if not it’s not legit to me so I’m gonna cry about it? If that’s not why you became a fan why the goofy shit now?

Anderson Silva got a DQ and did some drug stuff. Silva didn't really want to fight guys like Machida or Shogun as he was saying they were his friends, but it seems unlikely.

Would you consider Silva not an all time great?
Silva didn't become the eyeball-hunter after his DQ though. Jones did. I've never seen anyone go after the eyes as much as Jones did during that stretch.

Gordeau is the only fighter I think is dirtier, since he actually caused permanent blindness to one of Nakai's eyes. But Jones is definitely the number 2 eye-poker.

IMO, if we want this shit to be serious (MMA), then you should just be disqualified of any "GOAT" discussion as soon as you get flagged. Hell, I think you should be out of MMA period when you get flagged, so that says what I think about including cheaters in GOAT discussions.

In some sports, your whole carrer is removed, all the accomplishments and titles.

This is a very naive childish view.

MMA was not only conceived in peds, retired fighters are open about their usage and how prevelant is. Id say maybe Royce Gracie was the last clean fighter in the UFC, but he got busted.

Do you really believe in sports like the NBA, NFL where players are making hundreds of millions, they are not taking anything?

Do you even believe d1 collegiate players are not taking anything?

People dont realize what these challenging sports would look like if people didnt take anything. If you want to get an idea, watch Backyard brawling on instagram. (But even some of those guys are on gear, and theyre not getting paid to fight)

His fight against Stipe gets even less impressive the more times I see highlights.

You have to question your life decisions when you're reposting @McGregorRousey2, superfan.
I have no idea who that is, it popped up on my feed as the first highlight I've watched since the fight and it just looks sad. Is mcgregorrousey some eceleb I'm supposed to pretend is important? Or am I supposed to be impressed by the inaugural GFL fight Bones/Stipe was?

He's the GOAT, but its also the GOAT of failed drug tests.

Childish view ? You claim stuff with no proof to back up what you're saying.

My argument: MMA cannot be considered a real sport as long as its PEDs users are ranked in the best of all time discussions. Because in other sports, the ones known as the best would be discarded from history should they fail or have a failed a drug test. I can give examples.

Your argument: you insult me, saying I have a childish view. And what do you base your stance on? "Athletes of all sports take PEDs".

Well, ever heard about sources, proofs, to back up your statements? You have nothing. Take the big names from other mainstream sports, and find one proof that their big names take or took PEDs, and you'll find jack **** to back your claim. And when we have no proof to back a claim, well... then you have no claim. Period. And I teach my 11 years old teenagers to learn to have sources before they present an argument. I certainly shouldn't have to say this to someone who is, I imagine, an adult. So before you say I have a childish view, do your research or present another argument other than talking out of your you know what.

Let's be real, most sports (I assume you mean sports organization) don't do anything of that nature. Not even the two sports people probably think of when reading your statement (cycling and baseball) do that.

All of Barry Bonds accomplishments for example, to my knowledge are still widely recgonized. He just isn't in the hall of fame, which isn't erasing history as he was never in it.

In olympics and football, for examples, which are major international sports known everywhere (you go deep deep in Pakistan or Ouganda's countryside and you can be sure that EVERYBODY in a village know Ronaldo, Messi or Usain Bolt) and you can be sure that the biggest names are all tested more than in any other sports. And if they were caught, it's game over for them. This is what I base my point on for MMA. I think it should be the same not only to make sure that competitions are fair but also for the boys and girls' safety, which is essential in such a brutal sport... (that I enjoy tremendously, I'm not some anti MMA PoS I promise)

I don't follow most sports.
Aside from MLB, what other sports removes your accomplishments for popping? World games/Olympics and ??
I'm asking, because we know boxers have been caught cheating with nothing happening to them aside from maybe being stripped of a title they are holding at the time of failing.
In the NBA, very few players have been caught using PEDs and their records are intact.
In the NFL and NCAA it's a suspension, but no records are removed.

On titles stripping, I was talking about the olympics where the vast majority of stripped medals were because of doping infractions (Armstrong is one of the most famous examples but there are an infinite amount of others).

As for punishments, even if you weren't asking, Paul Pogba's example for football's severity is one to name. I know football isn't too famous in the US but guy was world champion and known as one of the biggest names for his position in the future (even if he didn't live to the hype he had when he was younger). Got caught for testosterone and got suspended for four years during which he receives the minimum wages and cannot access any facilities and services of his current club. Sure he doesn't give a **** about money considering the insane amounts he made before but still. In MMA, UFC for instances, guys litteraly get a slap on the wrist when they get caught.

TJ got shit ton of hate for testing postitive for EPO once, Meanwhile Jon has tested positive for freaking Turinabol <lmao>
There are levels

I get it, most MMA fans never trained themself, with 0 understanding of PEDs

"Everybody's on steroids" its complete bullshit, You simply wont pass the testing
Peptides however, Ive no doubt in my mind that every single athlete is using it. Very easy to beat the testing

The thing with Jones is how can he be the best ever when he hardly fights and when he did he arguably lost two fights (one was clear, even Dana white admitted he lost and he is his biggest nutthugger)

Then there’s the doping… I think Jones is one of the greatest ever with the potential to have been the greatest ever but a couple of gift decisions and doping removes him from the number 1 spot.

If he beasts Aspinal then it’ll be hard to argue against it though.

Beating Tom means absolutely nothing to Jones. Maybe in a few years when Tom is established as a great champ himself it holds water. As of now, Aspinall is the new shiny toy of the MMA community. If he were to lose to Jones tomorrow the narrative would be that Tom wasn't ready and inexperienced. As for the Dana White privilege; whomever is the top draw gets that love. When GSP was selling out arenas, Dana White said he was the biggest athlete from Canada ever.

Aspinall is by far the most dangerous fighter Jones would have fought and his biggest challenge since DC. Betting odds for that fight are even. When is that last time that happened for a Jones fight? Saying it means nothing is absolutely delusional. It is the only fight to make for jones, everything else is garbage. If he wins that he probably retires.

And it still does nothing for Jones to win this fight. When have you ever argued a fight had value because of the betting odds? You're trying to find ways to give a squirt about another fight that does nothing for Jones. If Jones beats Aspinall, it will be treated no different than when Jones beat Gane.

So what? everyone Jon fought was old MWs dude lol
DC was 37 and Jon stil had to take freaking Turinabol <lol>

So many retards in this forum, never achived anything in their life, believe in every hype-train,
I bet you took 4x C19 vaccine dosage also, because you believe everything
Include yourself.
