i think the sheer disrespect of the interim champ Tom by Jones is pretty immature. claiming he's "done nothing". except he's the interim champ and the #1 contender. finding all of these weaselly excuses not to fight the guy. Jones did less to earn his title shot at LHW. its very hypocritical.

there is no pretending. Jones wont fight Tom who is the interim champ and #1 defender. thats ducking. the champ should defend against the interim champ - it happens all the time. or he's free to retire/relinquish the belt if he wins or loses vs Stipe.

and yes, Jones ducked #1 best ever p4p Chael Sonnen. but on a more serious note he definitely avoided rematches with Reyes and Santos.

and why should we treat him fairly? he's popped for PEDs, lost his title because of it, and has eye poked various opponents and then admitted he did so. thats scummy behavior, no matter which way you slice it. dude has done a lot of things but being fair is not one of them.

like it or not, his legacy will always be tainted by his behavior. im not gonna claim that he's trash or try to discredit what he's done because thats completely illogical and immature. Jones has had an excellent career and is an excellent fighter, one of the best to do it. but that doesnt mean his legacy won't always have asterisks next to it. the fiasco with Tom is just another asterisk.

I do not know about that, i get a kick out of it. Some of the best comedy is done by JBJ hardcore fans.

The "Goat can do whatever he wants" posts have me laughing every time a Jones hate thread shows up, it is gold. Without those fans, i feel this site would be over run by jones/Conor hate. The moderate jones fans usually do not really show up in volume like the routine ones. So i respect those that are willing to stand in the fire against the entire site and go to war. I respect any fanbase willing to actually go the distance for their fighter and that is what they should do. There are cringy fanbases who post long photos, love letters, and articles, but I feel that is a different subject.

She started her own board/merch brand called Gnarhunters, I think a collab with Baker Boards. As far as I know, she just runs that and catches a street from time to time. She's almost 50 now, which is really depressing and makes me feel old as shit.

Mid-90s/early 00's was the best time for skating, imo, the kids were still dangerous outcasts back then, wearing DCs and jamming Misfits and Slayer and shit. Now they show up in their Nikes and listen to Drake. Quite a turnaround. Still cool, though, in my book
