A person died due to his negligence. He should serve some time in Juvie. This isn't fair to the deceased. He committed a crime taking the car. Committed a crime driving without a license. Committed a crime excessive speeding. In NY going over 30 miles an hour over the speed limit can see your vehicle seized and you could serve up to a year in jail. Serving ZERO time besides community service is an injustice.

You implied it by claiming the kid stole it, if you kill someone while under the commission of a felony then yeah, you go from involuntary manslaughter to voluntary, which is a serious felony.

In a just world, this kid would be lined against a wall and shot. Sending them to jail means that they're going to be forced into the worst possible life outcomes because spending their formative years in a prison environment without an education is a pretty good recipe for recidivism when they get out.

i think you dont know what just means man..... death penalty? really? thats pretty harsh man. people make mistakes and some of them go on to live wonderful full happy and useful lives.

ive got a friend who was high when he was 17 with some freinds in a car and they wrecked the car and killed somebody.... he is a deeply spiritual human being who really does serve humanity daily.... an exceptional person even.
