If Tom does not beat Ganes within 2 minutes then Jones will use this against him

Tom said in this interview that he doesn't think the fight will be easy and he is prepared for 5 rounds.

3:17

Anyway, even if Aspinall loses the next 10 fights, it doesn't change the fact that Jones ducked him, and turned down about $30 million to avoid him.

I do think Jonny made the correct decision to avoid Tom like the plague. Obviously he knew better than anybody the likely outcome was him staring up at the roof, mouth open like a fish gasping for air, and probably in the 1st round too.

This way he gets to protect his fraudulent undefeated record (made up of wins over past it middleweights, PED use, and the odd robbery decision thrown in)

Also jon would have been well aware how downhill he would have gone mentally after such a humiliation. He is already a narc and sociopath, he may well have ended up spending a long time in prison.

Pretty smart by Jon all things considered. Of course he will now be known as the greatest ducker of all time, but i guess thats a small price to pay for old Jon.

If gane survives longer than 90 seconds and lands at least a few shots, then he has already won , in Jon John’s world. John will use Tom’s performance to shut down any ducking conversation, lot at stake here.

To ease the souls of Asp fanboys, you can reassure them that even if Asp somehow miraculously wins in 2 minutes, it will not mean anything about a potential fight with old Jones.<JonesDXSuckIt>

If Tom stops him from strikes rather than just taking advantage of his white belt grappling, even if it takes longer, Tom's win will be more impressive to most than Jon's

KO'ing a guy is always more impressive than subs to the majority of fight fans.

No bad way to win a fight, but the "just bleed" memes exists for a reason.

Its why boxing is the most popular fight sport and not wrestling or bjj

My question is… what are Aspinall fans going to do when he actually faces a real challenge? Are you guys that confident that nobody good will appear at HW? He’s got a gimme fight in front of him and we’re already losing our minds at the fear of him potentially losing, and what might happen after. This is like the fourth thread I’ve seen on this topic.

Continue enjoy watching fun MMA fights

Our enjoyment of the sport isn't contingent on a guy losing whom our hero was too terrified to fight

Pereira lost - still enjoyed fighting
Volkanovski lost - still enjoyed fighting
Islam lost - still enjoyed fighting
Leon Edwards lost - still enjoyed fighting
Khabib - lo.... GOAT!

Our enjoyment of the sport isn't contingent on some retired fighter trying desperately to hold onto relevance and his man card after being cowed into retirement by another fighter

What a weird question

Mind you, some of us just enjoy MMA rather than being emotionally tied to one retired fighter

... and we’re already losing our minds at the fear of him potentially losing...
Also the 2nd time you have posted this falsehood

You previously tried to claim numerous Aspinall fans were trying to walk it back and the Gane fight was 50:50 based off a post by mkess in a thread where he repeatedly says Tom is a big favourite (i.e. not 50:50)

I asked you to provide evidence of one person doing this

Now you make a similar ridiculous assertion with no evidence

There is basically zero evidence in this supposed "change in narrative" that only you are claiming but no one else is seeing

Dunno why you keep inventing these little stories?

Man, just wait until you find out Tom has 3 actual losses on his resume.
Lol im talking about the specific situation of the thread. Jon cant attack Aspinall due to him getting destroyed by bums too. And the same bums that made him cry and be in a wheelchair got humiliated by so many mediocre fighters that Jones doesnt have a leg to stand on attackîg Tom on the Gane outcome.

Khabib is basically the only top fighter in UFC history that cant really be attacked even tho some morons bring up the Tibau fight. But all the other UFC fighters can be destroyed by mma math…

So Ryan Span is better then Jon Jones ?

HW is just not very good right now, and theres nobody on the horizon who looks all that special either. 15 or so years ago there was of course a level above guys like Pav, Blaydes and Volkov, now thats as good as it gets.

Having said that, hes 32 and very athleticism based, maybe he could start slowing a little when he gets into his mid 30s.
