They will...because they're that dumb. A ducking coward celebrating someone else's loss never works that well.I really hope tom wins but damn will Jon and his detractors have a field day if he loses.
Gane isn't easy to manhandleYou really think it will be that easy though? Do you think Gane would get ragdolled by a 40 year old Kongo the way Volkov did? I know Gane isn't exactly Brock or Cain but he's not that easy to manhandle. His grappling in the Volkov fight only looked bad because his feet were fucked up, he had no issues shutting down Spivac in the fight right before that.
Gane isn't easy to manhandle
Did you miss the Jones fight?
Gane was manhandled easily.
Didnt corps of Arlovski survive 1st round with this bum?![]()

Literally an obese powerlifting novice striker is able to catch him repeatedly with overhands because Tom is so incredibly predictable with his defense, only knowing how to back up. It reminds me of MMA strikers from decades ago when the sport was more primitive and it was more common to rely on simply backing up like this. His offense is actually his best defense....
He has gotten away with it so far because he is able to take out his opponents early with his admittedly outlier finishing ability, but it will be interesting to see how he deals with an actual skilled...

Iran national wrestler Pouya Rahmani appears to be absolutely unstoppable, it's just a matter of if the UFC wants to protect its British Nancy boy striker.

Aspinall best wins: Volkov, Blaydes, Pavlovich, Arlovski (older of course but have Tom his toughest UFC fight)
Lewis best wins: Volkov, Blaydes, Ngannou, Travis Browne, Roy Nelson, Gonzaga
I would have to say Lewis gets the edge via that signature win over Ngannou, the only loss in MMA that Ngannou has never been able to avenge aside from Cisse when he was ridiculously green.

He lost by DQ in the record books but we all know how that goes from Jones Vs Hamill, it doesn't really tell you anything about how the fight went.
But I stumbled across some very interesting evidence and ultra rare images of this lost fight, as well as direct testimony from Tom's opponent, that give us a much clearer picture.
Take from this what you will and draw your own conclusions. I'm guessing someone wanted a way out and found it.

It's pretty clear who is the teacher vs student, alpha vs beta in their dynamic.
One guy relies purely on physical abilities like speed and power, while the other is a cerebral technician.
Actually a really good parallel for this fight is Wilder vs Fury, so Tom does have a legit chance despite the skill gap.

Perhaps Tom would've done a little better if he bulked up and had a 50 lb advantage instead of just a measly 30? I wonder how a 250 lb Jon Jones would've done in similar wrestling situations.....hmmm, I'm sure Tom would've stuffed everything because after all, he mixed in some takedowns against Volkov, therefore he's clearly and elite grappler these days.

This reminds me of Sherdog before Ngannou vs Stipe 2 where you see the limitations of most human brains in that they don't have the capacity to conjure any thoughts beyond what they have already seen, so since Stipe took Ngannou down at will in the first fight, their limited minds assumed with certainty that it would play out exactly the same in the rematch.
Now we have Gane, who actually was always a pretty decent grappler and has only been exposed by Francis the hulk in his prime with the element of surprise, then Jon fucking Jones, and supposedly Volkov in the rematch, but Gane had a...

Aspinall is clear as day one of the best HWs to come along in the past 5 years (him and Gane, somehow they haven't fought yet but they're the clear two best).
They both debuted around 5 years ago. Gane fearlessly climbed the ranks at light speed, with a title shot less than 2.5 years after his UFC debut (where he was shellacking Ngannou on the feet effortlessly like no one ever had before, but lost due to not being prepared for Ngannou's wrestling pivot).
Tom on the other hand hasn't fought anyone near the level of Ngannou yet, 5 years into his UFC debut. He won the title off his win...

Austen Lane started 9 games as a rookie in the NFL. No other current UFC HW has the raw natural athletic ability to pull that off, including Jon Jones.

What big moments has Aspinall won by contrast?Gane is the HW Cowboy Ceronne (without tbe fan favorite part) . In big mo.ents he turns into a pumpkin . Aspinal wins in rd 1 easy

A lot of people ITT got hissy and side tracked instead of acknowledging the main point which is that yes it's true we have no idea what Tom's cardio looks like. Let alone if it really gets tested and he needs to start digging deep. That's not a question we similarly need to ask about Gane.
Winning fights by KO early because you're an offensive juggernaut is great until you don't. See McGregor and plenty of other fighters in MMA history.

Because people with obvious agendas don't phrase it as "unknown". They use words like "suspect" and all the connotations that come with it because they don't like the fighter. This is exactly what you do in other areas of his game. Or bozos like Golatta act like an announcer saying he looked tired in rd 2 vs Arlovski (just before he shot an explosive double leg and subbed him easily lmao) as gospel even though it was clearly bullshit. Same shit as you posting the wrong angle on the first Blaydes fight trying to sell that Blaydes landed a good punch that led to the knee injury when there's another angle clearly showing the punch missed.
You clowns think you're not transparent, it's pathetic.
Thank you for proving my point that you guys are throwing hissy fits instead of discussing Tom's cardio which you have no idea about.Or a lot of people are familiar with TS' body of work, and don't feel a need to take it seriously.
TS might hit the ball, but he's swinging for everything.

All first round finishes and one second round finish. But clown shoes posters like you think he's a bum.
Do you goobers think you aren't transparent as hell?

What big moments has Aspinall won by contrast?
If you try and say interim championship Gane did that too.

Absolutely unfair assessment, there are very few fights I've called with absolute certainty
