I think you might be hallucinating, Clown College..."right before"....that happened in the first round. The last real striking exchange in the second round before the takedown was Arlovski whacking Tom's shit with a left and Tom cope-responding with his best Bobby Green impression.

But there's no sense in talking reality with a cultist, you probably think Tom really is 11% bodyfat as well.

You're a moron. Yes Aspinall teeing off was in rd 1, but neither did anything of note in rd 2 standing. Arlovski landed one okay punch and they reset and danced around and both threw some meaningless strikes for awhile at range and then Aspinall took him down and subbed him.

Nice attempt at a save 🤡. "Right before" 😂. Arlovski lands a bomb at the end of round 1, then round 2 major lunch to the head then body then the left i referenced earlier, causing Tom to shake his head no for some kind of self soothing cope defense.
 
Gane knocks Aspinall out in the second round.
 
If Gane doesn’t get finished early on his chances of winning increase massively

I like some of your posts… but man you have some fucking bizarre takes hey. Tom finishes the fight instantly in the second round after feeling out round 1 against a crafty vet. Doesn't ring alarms of sus cardio.

Everybody said that with Khamzat and the fake African. But then Khamzat went out there and dominated every round. So we’ll have to see.
 
I’m not really confident in Gane’s ability to remain calm under pressure. He seems very weak willed. And Arlovski has a lot of experience too, so it makes sense he wouldn’t be impressed by Tom’s brainless aggression because he’s been in there with better, more skilled fighters. Gane is a better striker but he only has a few fights. I’d be surprised if he doesn’t get finished early to be honest.
 
When your entire gameplan is “just survive”, I don’t like your odds.

Gane doesn’t have the power to KO him easily and he is at a major disadvantage on the mat. Hes an underdog for a reason
 
I really hope tom wins but damn will Jon and his detractors have a field day if he loses.

Literally an obese powerlifting novice striker is able to catch him repeatedly with overhands because Tom is so incredibly predictable with his defense, only knowing how to back up. It reminds me of MMA strikers from decades ago when the sport was more primitive and it was more common to rely on simply backing up like this. His offense is actually his best defense....

He has gotten away with it so far because he is able to take out his opponents early with his admittedly outlier finishing ability, but it will be interesting to see how he deals with an actual skilled...

Lewis best wins: Volkov, Blaydes, Ngannou, Travis Browne, Roy Nelson, Gonzaga

I would have to say Lewis gets the edge via that signature win over Ngannou, the only loss in MMA that Ngannou has never been able to avenge aside from Cisse when he was ridiculously green.

He lost by DQ in the record books but we all know how that goes from Jones Vs Hamill, it doesn't really tell you anything about how the fight went.

But I stumbled across some very interesting evidence and ultra rare images of this lost fight, as well as direct testimony from Tom's opponent, that give us a much clearer picture.

Take from this what you will and draw your own conclusions. I'm guessing someone wanted a way out and found it.

One guy relies purely on physical abilities like speed and power, while the other is a cerebral technician.

Actually a really good parallel for this fight is Wilder vs Fury, so Tom does have a legit chance despite the skill gap.

Aspinall is clear as day one of the best HWs to come along in the past 5 years (him and Gane, somehow they haven't fought yet but they're the clear two best).

They both debuted around 5 years ago. Gane fearlessly climbed the ranks at light speed, with a title shot less than 2.5 years after his UFC debut (where he was shellacking Ngannou on the feet effortlessly like no one ever had before, but lost due to not being prepared for Ngannou's wrestling pivot).

Tom on the other hand hasn't fought anyone near the level of Ngannou yet, 5 years into his UFC debut. He won the title off his win...
