Ariel’s details on why Jones vs Tom fell thought

How many videos is Ariel going to make about this? Jon's made it pretty clear he doesn't want to fight the guy, at this point it's on the UFC to just strip him and move on.
 
Jones doesn’t give 1 shit about Tom. He’s the champion and Tom is chasing him.

The ultimate fuck you to Tom would be not fighting him. He doesn’t have to fight him because he already has the fucking belt.

The greatest LHW Champion went up and took the HW strap like it was already his. People that pray Jones will one day legitimately lose want Tom to be the only worthwhile thing through out his entire UFC career

Ank shouldn't fight anyone, he already beat Poatan the boogy man for that division
Islam shouldn't fight JDM
Topuria and Charles shouldn't fight

We should all just sit around and watch Jon and Connot tweet about how great they are for not fighting

Hopefully we never have a compelling match up at HW ever again

Too bad a helluva lot of people will just remember him ducking Aspinall if he does. And he won't have the belt long either way. He either fights Aspinall and gets KO'd, or he gets stripped and people believe he was scared of Aspinall all along. Not a happy ending for Jonny.

And it's too bad because his LHW run was actually legendary. The route he's taken has a lot of people forgetting how great he used to be.

Can pure speculation really be called "details on why" something didn't happen?

It suggests legitimate knowledge where there's really just a drummed up hypothesis.

UFC backed themselves into a corner by making that Tom vs Pavlovich fight for a title. Maybe they had too per ESPN deal to have Ppvs headed by a title fight. Either way they lost any flexibility they had

The only other time I can think of when a fighter just wanted to parade around with the belt and refused to fight and ultimately was stripped against their will was Conor Mcgreggor.

Jon already turned down the fight a loooong time ago. The UFC is just stalling in hopes that Jon will change his mind (which will NEVER happen imo).
