I assume this being so public is to get it in the public's eye to gauge some kind of intervention. Maduro has been cozying up to Russia, Iran and China for a while now. Venezuela relies on oil exports for its economy which has been in shambles since oil prices dropped. Their neighbor, Guyana also recently discovered it’s sitting on a fat oil reserve as well. Since then Maduro has claimed that that is historically Venezuelan territory and been threatening to invade. The US is backing Guyana and making a new friend since we fell out with Venezuela

What it can do is fly undetected and pick up enemy anti aircraft systems. It hits those and opens the way up for the real bombers, like the B2 that was the one that actually binged Iran, not the F35

lol, USA would never allow that. They would "bring democracy", "fight cartels" and sponsor insurgences all over. I could see bombings and naval blockades/sinking ships but I do think US would avoid boots on the ground though. Even Venezuela can be a vietnam like hellhole.
Brazilian military is really shitty, but every time americans do joint training exercises in the amazon forest here our military jokes around later about "gringos passing out after 48h of marching trough forest".
