The FBI has had the laptop since December 2019. Whether you want to chalk it up to the deep state or whatever else, the chances that a newspaper one level above a tabloid rag is going to prompt a public announcement of an investigation is practically zero. Add to that the fact that every single MSM news source is expressing serious doubts over the validity of this entire story, and the chances literally go to zero. Lastly, they already did this in 2016, everyone knows it influenced the election (the question is only how much), and the chances drop to somewhere in the flying pigs and freezing hell ballpark. So I wouldn’t hold my breath here.
