Illia doesn't at this point look to be near Conor's original commercial appeal.

He could still end up being a huge star though if he is able to keep winning in the way that he is now.

If Paddy were to get another significant win or two, Illia vs Paddy could be even bigger than Illia/Islam commercially.

no surprises here. Ilia has taken virtually every (social/persona) page from Conman's playbook, so the fact that he's wildly popular with the casual crowd and intentionally targets the basest and broadest demographic shouldn't be shocking to anyone. His "fanbase" is huge, but the percentage of that base that are genuine MMA fans is very small.

THAT ALSO BEING SAID,

Any MMA fan should be a fan of his fighting abilities. I think you're weird/a simple hater if you don't, at this point, think that Ilia is a fantastic and legit fighter.
