Jiri Prochakza generally is like "I think that's it, but it's a fight, so like I always say, let the better win" though this was the first time I've seen him answering it while really confident and not second guessing.

It's often not the guy who everyone thinks will win who dethrones the champ. Almost nobody thought Reyes would beat Jones, Hendricks beat GSP, Strickland beat Izzy, TJ beat Renan, Moraes beat DJ. That's part of why defending the belt repeatedly is so impressive.

People thinking the champ will win isn't good reason to call off the #1 contender (who in this case is actually more proven at HW than the champion, who's only fought one ranked opponent). You're just trying to make excuses as to why Jon should keep fighting people other than Tom Aspinall, and instead fight anybody but the well-rounded #1 HW contender, who's been #1 for a while now.

There's a difference between being a fan of a fighter (like Conor or Jones fanboys) and a fan of the sport itself. These excuses are a product of the former.

No, I've never said I don't want Jon Jones vs Aspinall, I want that fight. I'm just posting some fighters opinions, because now that the fight is pretty much confirmed to happen, tho JJ and Aspinall are sending coded messages hinting at the fight to build the hype, the fighters are speaking more about it, which they were not before.

And no, that's actually the opposite, Aspinall is the one who most people think, basically ever since Jon Jones defeated Rampage, that that's the fighter who will win. In fact, DC said that that is the first time as far as he remember that Jon Jones is the underdog. Some other fighters like Ian Garry said they think Aspinall will win. Many MMA analysts or GSP's old coach as well, think Aspinall is more likely to KO Jon Jones...

It's by no means the same scenario as Reyes, who like you said almost nobody thought Reyes would win. In fact, it's the first time that ppl think JJ is really going to lose...

Oh and Reyes didn't beat Jones. 😉

Probably. Jones always finds how to cheat his way to a victory. I still would like to see Spinal winning this time.

Are you sure? So the refs are very professional and never make mistakes

Lets pretend...

You also thought covid-19 was real and "bitcoin is a scam" haha

as much as i can't stand jones, it's possible. he has so many x factors working for him, reach, aura, unorthodox style, eye pokes etc. i don't think he'll ever have the balls to face tom but if they do, it's possible.

I guess if hes allowed to take turinabol again it can be competitive

Otherwise he doesnt stand a chance, too small to grapple with Tom and 0 power in his hands, with very poor boxing defence to strike with him

Size matters sorry guys

I'm guessing making a pro Jon Jones statement is a nice way to curry some favour with the UFC.

So you are a COVID denial? Makes sense then, you deny reality.

Too small, yeah, same guy what grappled with DC while weighing less, has trained a lot with Gordon Ryan and top wrestlers, easily took Gane down. Dropped Stipe like if Stipe were a kid in an outstanding way for someone who was even leaner than vs Gane... He can grapple with that Olympic 2 times heavyweight medallist who's 24 yo... Sure, too small...

I'm guessing making things up is a good way to pretend he doesn't mean what he just said...

You're all noob fans. My IQ is too big for these people...
