Right from the getgo I thought jones was playing some sort of Jedi mind trick. Tom would be the easier opponent in my opinion.

LOL get his meat out ya mouth. Aspinall is a HW that KO's other big HW's. Pereira landed everything on Khalil and didn't even KO him LMAO. Landed everything on Bruno Silva and couldn't KO him.

If you think he's more dangerous than Aspinall you're a casual.

Jones has had only 2 first round finishes since 2010. There's definitely some recency bias due to the Gane fight. It's absolutely not inconceivable that Alex could stuff a few takedowns and keep it standing for a while. Alternatively, get taken down and survive until the round ends.

That being said, Jones is obviously the favorite.

Yes but Jones takedowns are crazy good. He managed to take down DC, Sownen, all sorts of guys with good wrestling. These guys were high level wrestlers and Jones took them down. I'd love to see Alex be able to stuff take downs but I highly doubt he could stuff any Jones takedowns.

I'm just saying that there will also be moments on the feet, so can't 100% count him out.
Jones doesn't employ a Khamzat-style of wrestling, and Alex is dangerous to close the distance on. He also rarely gets off-balance while striking.

Jones has excellent timing, though, so of course he would take him down eventually.

Would much prefer Jones vs Aspinall.
