I had a former student who was an undocumented immigrant from Italy. She got caught in Texas on a bus with her boyfriend, who was also a former student, they were there for a tournament. She got detained by ICE and held for a week or two, immigration judge let her out so she could marry her boyfriend. She has a Green Card and 2 American kids now.

She was a far less productive member of society than this guy, who has glowing reviews as an educator from multiple States

Bizarre story out of Iowa. An illegal immigrant from Guyana who came in the 90's somehow got a social security card, is registered to vote, and passed background checks to eventually become the school superintendant in Iowa making 300K a year.

He lied his way into saying he has a doctorate, and also lied and said he had an MBA from MIT. When the Iowa school board found out he really didn't have a doctorate, they still kept him.

He got a deportation order in 2024 and ICE came to arrest him last week. He was in possession of a loaded handgun, a fixed-blade hunting knife and $3,000 in cash.

Bizarrely, he also competed for Guyana in the Olympics.

This is how lax this country was on illegal immigration for literally decades. Stuff like this is allowed.

I will say the NY Post story includes all these inflammatory and not verified details like some "anonymous" source said he was a womanizer and didn't take his job seriously and shit like that. Obviously trying to paint as worse a narrative as possible. Just stick to the facts - they're bad enough.
