If Tom does not beat Ganes within 2 minutes then Jones will use this against him

Great point. Pretty tough for Jones haters to come up with any other reasons to dislike him. The hate for him is so damn irrational, the guy is basically an American hero. And on top of that, just ao genuine.

Your strawmen would be funny if this thread wasn’t doing exactly what I said. :p

I'm confused, who's Jones?
The guy who will never fight again, or the guy who will not fight another fight?

Strawman? Explain? Was just simple sarcasm, which isn't a strawman.

Very simple point that Jones has made enough poor decisions to draw criticism that his "haters" are unlikely to be swayed at all by any of this. What about that is incorrect?

No dumbass it's cause you're now making an argument about betting odds.

Jones was anywhere from -350 to -450 to beat Reyes. Blachowicz was coming in as a 2-1 underdog against Reyes.

It's using your own moronic logic against you, but you were too dumb to pick it up.
Jon was going to pot shot his way to a decision, just like he did, because that's what he'd done for a decade.

He was never going to KO Reyes like Jan could. Or all those other power hitters also later did. He can be a favourite to win without being favourably stylistic.

This is what styles mean Portland. Hope this helps Oregon.

Jon would best Tom like a drum. Tom is a overrated striker and a weak HW champion(paper)

If this fight goes past 2 minutes then Jones will use this as ammo for why Tom was never good enough to fight him. He will make the claim of how easy he beat Cyril, while Tom had a much harder time. And thus, Tom was not on his level. Many of his fans will eat it up and the whole ducking scenario will die out completely. This fight is very important to Tom because his legacy of being the man that Jones was too scared to fight all depends on how quick he can finish Ganes.
Yes, yes he will

The key to any internet hatejerk is a consistent flow of new material, evidenced by this thread riling people up about something Jon hasn’t even said (yet).

Who knows if Jon would even say anything? The man is still mourning his brother.

Fair about his brother...but again the shit hurled toward Jones is somewhat continuous here and we have a title fight this Saturday that's at least Jones-adjacent in terms of relevance.

Man, just wait until you find out Tom has 3 actual losses on his resume.

As you know, that includes a DQ loss and an injury that he caused to himself 15 seconds into the fight, against a guy he rematched and stopped in the first round.

Why misrepresent things? do you consider Jons "loss" to Hamill to be legitimate?

is the assumption that Tom will care about this in the slightest? because I have to say, I kinda doubt it

It will only die out eventually if Gane wins

Even so, Tom losing to Gane doesn't excuse Jon's blatant and embarrassing ducking

If Tom can't finish Gane quickly Jones would have a point, considering how he steamrolled him. Tom has to dominate the division, let's see how it plays out.
Hasn't he ko'd almost all the top 10 already?

Jones embarrassed himself enough in this situation , no need to bring up Aspinall and start the entire thing over again

And I'm pretty sure that Jones was "supposed to be" a a worse style matchup for Reyes than Jan Blachowicz but one of them utterly smashed him and brutally KO'd him and one of them went to a life and death decision with him where everyone thought he lost.

Your logic is pretty stupid bro
Just remove "logic is"

Guy doesn't employ logic

If Gane opens up against Aspinall with a nutshot followed by some completely ineffective pitter-patter and a sloppy punch in the first minute or so that gives up his back for free, then this narrative will make some sense. Not a lot of sense, but some sense. Without that, this narrative will make no sense at all.
