Social ICE/deportation protests and riots megathread

I mean, these people he's having this conversation with are just dishonest. They're not trying to understand the point.
Everyone supports and respects service members until you actually have to acknowledge what they say I guess.

I'm used to it tho. There are people out here who are fake patriots. No real love for their country, just hate for certain people. If you don't see things their way then they don't consider you American. Used to break my heart but I'm numb to it now lol.

I've been having this conversation a lot recently.

There's a lot of Americans that don't actually understand what the concept of freedom means and they rather detest it, even if they won't admit it.

yeah, the Pritzkers are Oligarchs.
Agreed. It would be nice if Bernie holds his ground this time and doesn't sell out his supporters (again) to the oligarch infested DNC
who do you think in the US government still believes in We the People. I would probably accept Bernie as an answer, but that is about it.

Okayyyyy,
Sure it does- Trump wants to be seen as a tough guy internationally and at home. Deploying “war fighters” (credit where it’s due: that’s a bad ass turn of phrase) to try and establish and maintain peace is good optics for him. It sends a message Trump wants people to hear

Can't. Not won't. Not in the same category.

I can compare moon rocks to a strawberry short cake but I won't yield anything significant from it.
You are trying to refute my claim, seemingly because of the weak framing of your argument
1) Going into a hostile situation you've trained for against a common enemy

2) Going into a hostile situation you've never trained for vs fellow citizens
Training does not lessen the after effects of being in combat vs an enemy that is hoping to end your life by any or all means. If that was the case then numbers of PTSD from ground combat would be lower. No?

Not training for something like keeping the peace at home vs fellow citizens who are throwing rocks and fireworks at you, while OBVIOUSLY not the same, one scenario seemingly offers a lesser stress than the correct framing I posted above.

They all do it, which made Bernie's turn just like everyone else, disheartening.
Trump called Ted Cruz wife ugly, leaked a story to his buddy at the National Enquirer that Ted is cheating on his wife. Trump blamed Ted Cruz father for killing JFK. Then Trump found out Falwell Jr, like to sit in the cuck chair while his wife got plowed by the pool boy and Falwell Jr switched his support from Cruz to Trump, to keep it quiet, even though it came out anyway. Now anytime Trump needs his water carried, Ted is fighting everyone else to grab the bucket.
I sort of get why both sides do it for the good of the party, but Ted comes off like a little bitch doing it. Trump said that shit to me, that he said to Ted, I would hide Trumps catheter.

Just think of it like shooting up a bunch of black people speaking in ebonics from da hood vs shooting at nice white families from your small town that go to your church if it helps you understand the man's point.

I wouldn't do either. Kind of telling on yourself there, bud.

Scary thing is, if she ran for president she'd prob get more support from the left than Kamala did
Just put her on the cover of time magazine, have her be interviewed by a sex podcaster with millions of subs and star in a commercial for a drag queen tv show.

That should do the trick

It is the same reason MAGA constantly pumps out Trump Muscular Memes.
Like the rest of us they see Trump as an 80 year old fat man, lots of make up, wearing lifts, falling up stairs, blood thinner bruises on his hand, napping in public and wearing a catheter, but being in a cult, you cant see your leader that way, so you have make a fantasy version of Trump to blind you of the reality that Trump is a Sundowning old man.
Much like Kim in North Korea used to say shit like he played a round of golf and shot an 18.Made a hole in one on every hole. Most dictators are insecure men(Hitler never married and some say his dick did not work), so they need to lie to their people, to propagate the myth around them. Trump is a 3rd generation trust fund baby, who went to private schools and Ivy League colleges, and probably never once fought in his life. He is no tough guy, just an old man, cos playing as one.
