If it was the usual riot over some drug overdose and not an active attack and obstruction federal employees from doing their jobs. Then maybe Trump let’s Newsom sit on his hands, but he has to act quickly since it was federal employees being impacted in that moment AND Newsom was pretending everything was peaceful when all visual evidence said not.

LAPD by sanctuary city policy does not “help” ICE do their job. So, who’s lying?
