Daniel Cormier: It Would Have Been Hard for Tom Aspinall to Continue Fighting After Injury

Yeah, you weren't going to bet on it because you thought Tom was going to win and was too big a favourite to win much on.

Then you had all your biggest nightmares confirmed finding out Tom ain't that guy.

Mark...your first paragraph is the closest thing you've posted to being accurate. Holy shit! I mean...it's extremely obvious to anyone who understands betting, but at least you have the general gist right. I'm actually kinda proud of you. Yes, I thought Aspinall would win. Yes, I thought that even though he'd win, he was too heavily favored by the books so passed on betting it. That's...what smart bettors do.

Now your second paragraph...you went back to being retard Marky. My "nightmare" would be making stupid bets and foolishly losing $. Which wouldn't have happened with this fight anyway since it was a no contest...but the fact that you are unable to comprehend that my betting interests are my main focus is on you. I've now explained it to you clearly. If you can't grasp it, I can't help you.

Man spent years writing novels about how much better Tom was but then didn't pull the trigger.

Probably won't next time either even with new odds and less excuses.

SAD!

tom wanted an out and ciryl gave it to him. Tom could have fought, but he knew the fight wasn't going his way and it would have been hard to deal with for another 20 min.

If this happened with 15 seconds left in the 5th round with Tom up 4-0... he would have continued.

I personally don't focus on the eye issue, if Tom really couldn't see then I can understand him not wanting to continue.

To me the eye issue was very unfortunate and distracts from the fact that he was getting fucking mogged in the cage, Gane landed that awesome counter right before the poke that stumbled Tom back.

The momentum was totally shifting and Tom was about to gas horribly in another round and be a sitting duck, and his takedown attempts were putrid. Gane has been training for a while with the enormous hulk Fotsing and then Pouya Rahmani, literally one of the best overall grapplers on Earth.

The focus should be on all the clowns that said bullshit about Volkov and "one legged Ngannou" wrestling Gane (broken toes Gane in the case of Volkov) so therefore Tom would so easily take him down and sub him. And the clowns saying Gane has no power so Tom will just walk right through him.

Honestly the clown army are loving that the attention is all on the eyepoke and distracts from their incredibly inaccurate, boorish, and asinine assessments of the fight.
It was literally even

Sigh. Marky...the reason I've been a profitable bettor is exactly because I don't let emotions dictate plays. No matter who it is, the odds have to make sense. I'll post thoughts in the UFC forum like anyone else who posts here. When it comes to $, it's likelihood of outcome vs odds offered.

There's no point talking about betting the rematch until the books open odds for it. Yes, I'll bet Aspinall if the odds are worth it. But you know what? If the odds are off the other way I'd bet Gane. Hell I'd have bet Gane this time if I thought the odds were too far out of whack. He wasn't tempting enough so I passed.

Profitable. That's my focus. Arguing with goobers like you is a fun distraction. There's more activity by far in the UFC forum than the betting sub, so I post here.

Daniel needs to go and give Chael Sonnen a few slaps around the ear, to knock some commonsense into him. Sonnen is saying the opposite and Sonnen is wrong.

Imagine listening to what Daniel is paid to say instead of looking at his actual fighting career for what he'd have done

It was basically difficult for Asp to continue after such a first round.

Because the best fighters in the world fight through adversity, that's why they're recognized as the best fighters in the world. Rich Franklin knocked out Liddell with a broken arm, Jones fought with a compound fracture where the bone was protruding out of his skin. It's what separates the great fighters from the middle of the pack fighters.

Ufc should start the blind division.

Open weight...
<GOT2>
because how would they even know.

At least they can hear the bell.
