Tom Aspinall: Former UFC champ would have been a ‘nightmare’ for me

Prime DC is a nightmare match up for most HW but sherdogers will never admit it.

Aspinall was asked a question and he answered it.

If he had said, "Nobody would've given me too many problems. I'm the HW GOAT in making." He'd be seen as arrogant and full of himself this early on in his career.

I believe he's just being humble while paying his respects to Cormier whom he likes a lot.
Why is it so hard for Tom fans to admit that the dude might actually have weaknesses? Including the very ones he himself admits to?

It's the most bizarre thing I've ever experienced on Sherdog to pretend a guy with already 3 existing losses and no (real) big wins yet is some unstoppable monster. Even in Anderson's prime title run when he was nuking people left and right everybody said you could at least put him on his back. Say this about Tom, who's already lost a fight by doing that before and says he worries about someone like DC shooting on him, and Tom fans will say that isn't true.

The guy's best defence is his great offence making it unnecessary, and it's working well so far. But even he's telling you he'll have problems if he gets disrupted from getting going, and why doesn't that make perfect sense to you? It's almost like this is his style for a reason as he knows what happens if he's pushed to fighting as the nail instead of the hammer. Doesn't mean he can't, but it also doesn't mean he's suddenly lying about struggling/being worse at that aspect.

Heavyweight Dc before he dropped to lhw , the one who gave Josh Barnett a rocket launcher throw like he was a little kid was a motherfucker

Not the heavyweight Eating barbecue looking like stay puff marshmallow man who came back to fight Stipe
Why do Mythical HW DC fans pretend like he didn't look like dogshit after Barnett in his next 3 HW fights against Staring, Mir, and Nelson?

There were 3 more HW fights before dropping to LHW and they just get completely memory holed because they don't fit the narrative.
