Ok. Believe what you like. It's certainly his right to retire whenever he wants and for whatever reason, but he's literally obsessed with peoples primes and always talks about it. Khabib simply will not fight at a disadvantage, be it due to age or size.

Yes the guy that many thought was going to give Jones his comeuppance, and then got beat so quickly and effortlessly that it's regarded as one of the worst performances in a title fight ever. You're confusing close, competitive fights with losses, like many Jones haters do. You say Jon had hard fights because he didn't have his usual physical advantages, but the more obvious and likely answer was that it was just a couple bad performances from a guy who clearly wasn't motivated and likely burnt out from kicking everyone's ass over the last decade. He didn't have physical advantages over Gane, so what happened there? Kinda shuts that whole silly argument down.

Look, we need Big Frank, Jon, and Alex in the HW division. Get some excitement going.

We need all LHWs in HW or to make LHW weight to 215 lbs... The most skilled guys are in LHW and weight cutting gets tougher as LHWs nowadays are big. No one walks around < 215 lbs anyways in LHW, Jiri is also roughly 220 lbs. It should just there be a weight limit in the night fight so the fighters in LHW could get to 230 lbs tops... Then LHW would be more active too without the need to have gems going to HW when they'd have 1 or 2 big fights as the rest of the division is dead.

How is Tom avoiding fights? He wanted Jones and could not get it.

He signed to fight Gane and also wants to fight Ngannou who is the lineal champ or some shit.

If anything Francine and Jonny are the ones ducking competition.

JJ still did better at LHW than Tom did. He beat Gane, now seen by Tom as a very even match, and a #1 contender who beat everyone except Ngannou and JJ, and vs Ngannou he went to a hard decision, vs JJ it was a 1 round cut. And Miocic again, I need to reiterate, said he was better prepared for Jon Jones physically and mentally than his last 3 fights, as he said he wasn't in a state he was motivated with the payment and fighting often took a burden on his body to the point he couldn't get to his physical optimal weight (he was like 230 lbs vs Ngannou 2 and in a way smaller octagon due to covid). Miocic literally said he liked trolling the media and fans by pretending he was out of touch just so he "could shut everyone up". He had no reason to say that if he were worse as he could simply excuse his dominant loss as getting too old. You look at his body and that isn't the shape of someone who wasn't training hard, that is the shape of someone who like Miocic said, took the training as serious as ever as he always wanted to fight JJ. He had said he was planning to return to get the revenge over Ngannou as he said he knew he could beat him again, but that JJ going there motivated him even more.

Miocic literally said he didn't accept the offer in 2023 to fight, with Cyril Gane campaigning to fight and JJ calling Miocic instead with Stipe saying "I was in a camp to beat Gane, but seeing JJ winning like that and having the opportunity to fight him, I wouldn't go there hastily without preparing properly for the most important fight to my legacy"... Look at pro fighters commenting how impressive it was that Miocic could still keep that pace after that brutal round 1 smash with tens of elbows from JJ... Any fighter who JJ brought down and landed like 10 elbows would get up confused and out of touch, barely hanging in there.... Miocic was still focused on the fight and was with his usual poker face.

JJ dominated and finished the now younger Gane, #1 ranked and the best HW, the most decorated one who admittedly was as good as ever vs JJ... No one criticize Jiri Prochazka for going through hell to beat 42 yo Glover... Miocic who had way more time to prepare and was in amazing shape was dominated and suddenly "that fight was a joke". Maybe to whoever is clueless it was. Fighters like DDP and Topuria said JJ should be #1 pfp off that performance alone. Heck, his odds vs Tom became totally even after that fight, which shows they saw that performance as good enough to make it a coin flip vs Tom. The odds of the fighting ending without going to the distance were +250, meaning most expected a 5 rounds UD for JJ all while they said Miocic looked better than predicted.

I guess... Beating Gus 2 (same age as JJ), Smith (who was on a win streak and had beaten Gustafson i.e was in his good days), Santos (who had just KO'd Jan Blacowicz in round 3) and Reyes (up and comer and undefeated until fighting JJ)... Then going to HW and beating another younger talented HW in 2 minutes, then Miocic, the best HW ever and by then better than Cyril Gane as he at least took the fight to round 3, is not impressive .... Yeah, it's not impressive by anyone who's blind. It's 28-1 with the loss being by illegal elbows to an opponent who was done, i.e not a loss much the same way no one counts Ankalaev's NC vs Johnny Walker as a loss. JJ is pretty much 30-0, with 17 title wins, vs 3 generations of fighters, vs 7 former champions and hall of famers, vs younger undefeated guys (Reyes),undefeated guys who were hyped like JJ (Ryan Badder), up and comers like Gus who were like 12-1 when fighting JJ, undefeated guys like DC who hadn't even lost a round... And beasts like Stipe in his second fight in HW while being as inactive as Stipe. It needs a heavy mental gymantics to deny he is not the goat when Khabib recently said JJ is the best to ever do it in UFC history... Khabib had JJ and Fedor tied post Gane fight, post Miocic he said JJ was the best ever. Most fighters agree... GSP, Mighty Mouse, Anderson Silva all say JJ is the best ever. Jose Aldo too. Fedor met JJ and hugged him saying "it's an honor to be complimented by you, Jones" ... Jon Jones not being the goat or at least top 3 is simply... Not defensible unless ppl ignore facts.

I bet the fight vs Tom will come too and if I get it right that JJ pulls off a very close but deserved 3-2 in a huge fight, then he will be just making the obvious even more obvious still... I still believe that yes, the fight vs Tom was done and that yes, I believe by what they said, it was a banger with JJ winning in a very tough fight like Gus 1... The RDR vs Whittaker sounds like a nice blueprint for how I think it went. The UFC won't hold it I bet, October fits with well within the 6 months from JJ... And if Tom is real in saying it'll be one of the best HWs fights ever, then I don't think he is expecting it will be Cyril Gane. He had said before he believes he could put Gane out in one round. I bet it's the JJ fight but they are advertising Cyril just so ppl don't get off, as many wanted JJ to retire to have a "moral victory", which they will see Tom as another Reyes after... It'll imo be a last notice announcement like a week or so to crack the internet with "surprise motherfuckers!!" ... If that happens, I will love to see the next excuse (I believe my theory and that's not just mine, there are whistleblow that gives it away too)

Right after the rumored date, Tom captioned his video as "did JJ lose to Reyes?" implying a what he thought as close fight. Then Tom raised a petition to strip JJ... The fact it's still teased as big revelations coming make it seem like that too. JJ said "you know my plans, I would fight Ngannou if you want me to stay more"... He wouldn't call Ngannou and not piss Dana when Dana said the fight was agreed and done, if JJ didn't do it and pretended all the time. It's all timing.

Historically speaking, we have had some great HW fights.
