For the second time, how I feel about him personally is not the same as offering an opinion about how well he will do in this election because I don't get to decide that by myself. It's currently pretty close--the Liberals were ahead by just 2 points last I heard--and based on that it could go either way. Just like Harris's surge when she became the Democratic candidate though, the shift in support could prove to be temporary. I will be disappointed if he wins, but not terribly surprised. Funny how you're incapable of understanding how that's different from wanting to spit on him.

How exactly were we sold out ? Neither one of them has been reelected since meeting with Trump. Trying to avoid tariffs is selling us out apparently.

The only ones selling us out are the Liberals by enacting their own tariffs and hurting us Canadians even further. Refusing to address the fentanyl issue, an issue which at first they denied was even an issue only to see a 90% increase in seizures when half assed measures were enacted. Almost every political ad I have seen in the last 2 years were attack ads on Trudeau paid for by Conservatives. They believe they work, apparently.

Considering the CBC has been co opted into the Liberals own tax payer funded 24 hour attack ad I would say that is fair game.

1. Only if he kisses enough Trump ass. Mind you, I would not be at all surprised if he dropped the tariffs right before the election and then announced that whether they are reinstated will depend upon who wins and how much they kiss up once they're in power.

2. Yes, he wants to do to Canada what the Russians are doing/trying to do to Ukraine. Take over, impoverish the people while stripping the nation of our natural resources, and then dump all their garbage on it.

We can't beat Trump in a trade war. Our own retaliatory tariffs are going to be insignificant compared to what US does to us. Our trade with them is a much smaller percentage of their economy then it is of our economy. So kissing his ass is the only option that can get us ahead. By kissing his ass I mean putting politics aside and negotiate a fair deal, and put the work in on that border. Something which by no stretch of the imagination is bad for Canadians or selling them out in anyway.
