Prime isn't only an age thing. It's pretty clear Silva leveled up big time once he entered the UFC.

Hey, if someone is going to hold it against izzy for having a tough fight against gastelum while hyping up silva, I'm going to point out silva getting subbed at 29 years old, by a guy who never subbed anyone else in his life. This was 15 fights deep into Silva's career after already beating good fighters like newton and sakurai.

DDP is amazing at mixing it up. Even when he wins exchanges on the feet, it doesn't mean he's going to piece Izzy up in a kickboxing match. MMA you lose striking effectiveness when you're worried about takedowns.
