International Trump forced Israel to negotiate with Hamas

I dont know here. Obviously there were pro hamas flags at the NYC protests and elsewhere. My statement was general. There may be some in here and in the media that equate criticism of Israel to being anti-semitic but thats ridiculous. Netanyahu needs to go too and based on the boos in hostage square by Israelis when his name was mentioned he may be on his way out. But just because one is critical of the Israeli govt doesnt mean they are anti-semitic or pro-hamas. I am pro-palestinian but believe Hamas is nothing more than a terrorist organization masquerading as a political org.

We are on the same page. I have noticed after interacting with other users here the moment I said something critical of Israel or the IDF, they go straight to "you must be pro Hamas" which is a sad way to have a healthy discussion about trying to right the wrongs, no matter the country or people.

I hope those particular IDF soldiers Ive mentioned face consequences for their actions, even though in our society today I'm not naive to think they actually will, sadly.

Well this place is like that on a lot of subjects. Peeps throw extreme statements just to stir crap up. Wouldn't pay much attention. Sounds like we agree. Any soldier that performs illegal acts should he punished but if its just a he said she said I doubt it will happen..

Time will tell. Get that Noble Piece Prize ready.
Trump will never get that haha. I dont care if he does. I dont doubt that there will still be a few issues and I have said I dont see Netanyahu letting any Hamas members walk nor that Hamas will willingly give up power. This thing is shaky at best.

Conversely though, you didnt really mention Hamas at all in your post and instead just went on the attack about Israelis which is revealing of your mindset and biases

Most are hoping for peace, but too many people are spiking the ball already. It feels like a manufactured moment for the media. I guess most things are.

Of course its incredibly fragile. But the people on both sides in israel cheering isnt manufactured. They have a glimmer of hope that this may finally be over after over 2 years. So there is obvious legit joy there just that it has stopped. Cant say it will hold but its a good first step. Again, the reason Netanyahu had to be pressured by the US is because he doesn't want anything but the absolute death of Hamas members (dont blame him there). But at this point we have to take what we can get and just see how it goes. There will always be those in here that overstate things like its a slam dunk. But they really know this thing could fall apart quickly.

Sigh. This is exactly what I'm talking about @Cajun

SuperAlly, I've condemned Hamas from the stars to the moon. Can we have an honest discussion or will you relegate anything I say to "but Hamas".
Absolutely. Hamas, Hezbollah, Al Qaeda, Taliban, Saudi govt, etc. All need to be extinguished for a better future.

Haha. Yeah this happens a lot where peeps ignore most of what you say and focus in on something.

The hilarious fact and irony that your post i responded to was "but, Israel.. "

That was literally my point.

Your post can be summed up as

"I'm not pro Hamas...

But Israel 1
But Israel 2
But Israel 3".

When someone who doesn't know you looks at the post it strongly infers a certain bias.

If you are anti Hamas you don't need to qualify it with 3 or 4 whataboutisms of Israel. You can say I condem Hamas and stop before the But Israels

we dodged a bullet , she wouldn’t of got this deal done

Reminds me of Hillary’s and some medias saying “ she was too smart to be president ..

I think she's actually stealing Hillary Clinton's old media talking points and attributing it to herself, LOL. I mean, you couldn't go anywhere without hearing that being said about Clinton. That was her thing. I don't remember anyone saying that about Harris.
