Again, they haven't done so. Their population as per unbiased sources have only increased.

Israel started their campaign in 2023 after October 7th. I don't see why the 2024 population numbers wouldn't reflect a decrease in population if that were the case.

I dismiss it as biased because it is a biased source. Their very homepage refers to casualties as "martyrs": https://www.pcbs.gov.ps/default.aspx rather than casualties, killings or deaths. Also it's a biased source because it's not an unbiased third party. Question for you: do you trust everything the Israeli government puts out? Or do you only afford that to one side?

Again, people have been calling it a genocide for decades now. I was curious if you called it a genocide before October 7th, and it seems you were calling it a genocide as well back in August of 2022, before the war broke out, again when there population was constantly increasing.

I was speaking more directly towards actions by the US military, but if you want to open up that can of worms sure. Israel does want it's hostages, they've been negotiating the releases of them constantly and have gotten them as concessions from Hamas. Also if that logic were the case (it's obviously not), why wouldn't Hamas just let the hostages go to end Israel's justification of the war? Because Hamas are terrorists who sparked this war with their actions and continued holding of Israeli hostages. Israel cannot reward Hamas for this because guess what Hamas is going to do when they notice taking hostages gets them what they asked for: they will take more hostages.
