So far MVP has...

Okay you're hating now.
I think you missed my follow up comment.

Where I say the word "outclassed" used by another commenter confused me.
I saw you say he's mid tier and pick Shara bullet. He made Sharabullet look easy. In the UFC his striking is absolutely top tier. No one in mw or ww can stand with him he's a top tier striker
I still would do the same...

It's not hate, that's just my opinion.

I don't care for MVP or Shara but I think Shara has more talent in MMA than MVP.

MVP is highly overrated in my opinion. I feel like his awkward style causes more difficulty for his opponents than actual talent.

Even in this past fight, Shara just stood there and did absolutely nothing - hence the memes of Shara being absolutely still.

MVP did what with his "top tier striking"? Absolutely nothing.

He jumped in threw a punch or elbow and just ran around for most of the fight.

Mike Perry gave MVP trouble lol

I would rate MVP as C+ tier fighter and no where near the top of MMA.

Just my opinion - no feelings involved in that analysis.

Beat the fuck out of Holland. 45-70'd him.
Outclassd Ian Garry on the feet. He lost but Garry had no idea how to handle him standing.
Went up to 185 and outclassed one of the top prospects and strikers there. Like Garry, Shara had no idea how to solve the puzzle.
And the guy is 38 and past his best days.
Super impressed and happy for him. Always thought he was one of the best talent outside the UFC. He won't be champion but dude is definitely proving he belongs.
He's fun to watch when kept away from any decent wrestler. I don't çare how many idiots say him and wonderboy would be boring NONE of his UFC fights have been action packed, I want to see who's the best karate jumping style guy.

MVP completely dominates in the stand up in every ufc fight he's been in

Because age isn’t as much of a factor as everyone is making it out to be. It’s coping mechanism anytime their favorite fighters lose.

I blame all the PrideFC fan girls who couldn’t cope with their favs losing so they created the “out of prime” bullshit by using their ages.

MMA isn’t like the other sports when it comes to age where physical attributes play a big part. In MMA it’s your skill set that has much more to do with it. Skills don’t decline and you also can learn them.
Get back to us when you’re 35+ dude. Former athlete here by the way. Skills may not decline but everything else does and physical attributes play a huge factor in MMA too.

Look what happens when dudes like Izzy and Anderson slow down. Look what happens when cardio machines like Colby lose their cardio. Power is the only thing that doesn’t seem to go away with the rest.
