Usman, Morales, Shavkat and Garry if he wins on Sat are all ahead of him. Even if Garry loses and Shavkat is still hurt he wont be option 1 or 2.

Shavkat hasn't fought since the champion has turned over twice... he is absolutely not next, and I love Shavkat.

Garry put on an absolute stinker point fight against Prates and then nearly got finished in the final round. Since then Prates has walk off, holy shit someone died, scary KO'd Geoff Neal and Leon back to back. He is 6-1 with 6 spectacular finishes.

Garry is one fight removed from a loss to Shavkat.

I see no meaningful reason Garry is ahead of Prates given the full lay of the land. If Garry puts on a another stinker point fight with Belal, I say let him fight again.

I said even if Garry loses and Shavkat is hurt he still wouldnt be option 1 or 2, Usman and Morales would be. And yeah if SHavkat is ready to return and Garry wins on Sat those 4 would be higher on the call list than Prates, as would probably Topuria if they want a white house super fight next.

Again he's fun as hell to watch but he's atleast one probably two fights away. Shit he might actually fight Shavkat next. If Usman gets title shot cause Islam wants it and Garry wins on Sat Morales/Garry and Shavkat/Prates would be matchups you could do to get 2 fresh fights.

True, no way guys like Hendo or Chito or Colby would get title shots ranked that low or because champ wanted it. I must have been dreaming about seeing that.

Shavkat's biggest win was Garry, which he almost lost. His other wins are Wonderboy, Magny and Geoff Neal. Prates KO'd 2/3 of those guys, then just KO'd the former champ. I'd say that puts him ahead of Shavkat despite the Garry loss. Also, I think Garry is going to lose to Belal.

Stupidly Usman is ahead of him for "legacy" reasons and Usman is almost out the door. I like Prates, but it's a hard sell for a striker from fighting nerds to match up with one of the best grapplers. Honestly he probably has more of a shot than JDM had against Islam, but WW is so stacked.

I think minimum for an interesting fight against Islam is a background in wrestling. Then you have to have some finishing power on the feet. Usman fits the bill, but we know he's not who he was in his prime. Now that I think about it, I don't know any WW that has a style to beat Islam, only Khamzat if he could make 170 one more time.

Again I'm not saying he's first call, we're talking about call number 4 and 5 so it doesnt even matter cause the first two calls are gonna say yes and thats Topuria if they go super fight and Usman because they want it.

Morales, Shavk, Prates and Garry/Belal are gonna have to fight each other. Shav/Morales would be the true number 1 fight but if Garry beats Belal we've already seen Garry/Prates. So if they want fresh fights and Garry wins on Sat then Morales/Garry and Shav/Prates is probably how you book it.
