Craig Jones I thought had the answer for Dagestani wrestling? Still love Craig because he’s a maniac.
Scrambles aren’t enough, you need the wrestling to counter the wrestling.

triple champ incoming. Just kidding he needs to win at least 3-4 times at 170. Would be wild I think Islam is slicker than khabib or Chimaev just on the variation of takedown looks.

Craig Jones is one of the best grapplers and best grappling coaches of all time.

Islam is REALLY fucking good bro. I don’t think you guys really understand. Jack did well, really well, as good as one can do against Islam on the ground at this point. Islam is just that mfer

again, shut the fuck up lol. It was a boring fight. thats fine. Nobody is saying Islam wasn't impressive you muppet

those shoulda been all 10-8 rounds, islam as well as shev

completely 1 sided domination, overwhelming

Current Standard: A round is to be scored as a 10-8 Round when a contestant wins the round by a large margin by impact, dominance, and duration of striking or grappling in a round.

A round scored 10-9 indicates a close win for the fighter. If the round is decisively won, it might be scored 10-8

Craig Jones is a great bjj coach for Jack. He needs great wrestling coaches to go alongside Craig, the same way Volk has the Hickman bros for wrestling and Craig for grappling.

Jack literally wrestles with his brother and other local guys. It's not enough on the wrestling front.

The guy just turned 29, he can still make improvements for a few years and realistically peak at like 32. Real wrestling coaches to go along with Craig would help him reach his full potential in my opinion

Exactly. And know how you can tell he only trained wrestling with local guys in his gym? HE TRIED AN OFFENSIVE TAKENDOWN WITH A WIZZER MULTIPLE TIMES. Not a single high level wrestler coached dude after seeing him try that multiple times vs Islam. It would be one of the first things a good coach tells you NOT to do.

Lmao get a load of this joker. That av makes you think you’re actually some tough guy. “Shut the fuck up!!” Lmao dude, save it, you have absolutely zero say in what i type on this forum. If you’re butthurt about it put me on ignore.

I’m allowed to say Jack did well as well. Hope you can get through this trying time.

Michael Pixley is a NCAA national champ and does that,

Scuttling away from being wrong last night doesnt mean you can start repeating this nonsense again. Do you coach?

Some great finishes and the prelims had a couple bangers, both title fights could of been MUCH better though - 6/10.

Glad the people of New York got to witness a true double champ winning in MSG. Not the Fake Double Champ Conor winning in 2016 at the same arena, who never defended his belt once at Featherweight, and then later got smashed by both Khabib and Dustin at 155 pounds.

4 POTN Bonuses:
Nickal
BSD
Prates
Morales

I think UFC should have opened up the wallet and gave a FOTN bonus also to Wellmaker and Ewing those cheap Basterds.

Wow! Great win for Shevchenko and congratulations to her on defending the UFC flyweight title! Great win for Islam Makhachev and congratulations to him on becoming the UFC welterweight champion!
