I think DDP is a very physically strong fighter, for example he ragdolled Whittaker too, and it will be very difficult for Khamzat to control him. The other factor is DDP is extremely athletic and explosive and can control the range really well, it will not be as easy for Khamzat to close the distance. If DDP can get it into round 3 I think he overwhelms him with strikes, his attacks are too varied and powerful.
