Jones stalling to blame fight not happening on Tom

He didn't do the same with Francis. That scenario was on Francis and he was the reason the fight didn't happen.

But he is doing that with Tom and if the fight doesn't happen it's entirely on Jon. They are very difference scenarios and not really comparable though, Francis and Tom.
Huh? Revise History much? You don't remember Jones asking for 30 million ?

Huh?? Ignoring facts much?

You guys still spinning around the same BS. Jones asking for 30 million, BTW, to which he actually said didn't happen and it was Dana that said that. So I don't know who's word to take here. Regardless, asking for big money for a big fight is not ducking or running from it. It's getting paid the worth. Furthermore, it's negotiation, Jon aims high, the UFC aims low and they meet somewhere and that is how it went down.

What you're missing here, whether you're ignoring it or just don't know, is that Jon came to terms with the UFC and the money on the Francis fight to which he signed and agreed. So it's not that Jon asked for 30 mill or whatever amount and the fight didn't happen. It's Jon asking for that amount, the UFC not going with it, but them continuing to negotiate till they came to terms. It was ongoing.

Do you not remember Francis clearly saying that in Jan 23 they UFC offered him a 3 fight deal, outlined with pay and the Jon Jones fight for UFC 285?? An actual offer to which Jon already agreed to?? To which Francis said no, decliend and left the UFC.

Yah, I'd stop spewing this "Jon ducked Francis" BS. It's just getting stupid now.

Jones doing a lot of stalling and trolling.
I don't know what the number will be but he will get big money from UFC to do the fight. They will not let this one go without happening like Francis/Jon. If they really felt they couldn't book it they'd proceed with stripping. Dana with his smirk insist soon. I can't cash that in for anything but it tells me it is closer than many of think it is.

It might very well be the UFC stalling this shit trying to land a massive network deal using the promise of a massive fight between Jon and Aspinall as leverage.
Of all nonsense takes I've read, this is the only reasonable take of what's happening. Now the question is whether the UFC is creating an illusion it's still happening or if they have it locked down but won't announce until the deal is signed.

I just hope whoever signs with UFC puts a fucking quality clause for control so the UFC can't keep spitting out cards filled with 1st time fighters and collect 500k ppv buys like they did with ESPN.
