i think cause he knows what's on the line. he can easily beat tom aspinall, tom has beaten nothing but average HWs. nothing special. jones is older, and knows he can't just skate by with cocaine fueled benders anymore. he has shown me nothing to indicate that he is scared or worried, or hesitant about fighting next in line average HW guy. he's unbeaten. lol.

The tip-off that your post is total bullshit is that you actually said Jones fought Stipe for cheap because he was just honored to be in the same cage as the 'legend'. Anyone who has been following Jon Jones' career for any amount of time knows that he doesn't think like that. He only cares about himself and does what is best for himself 100% of the time. He absolutely agreed to fight Stipe for less money but it wasn't because he thought he was a legend, it was because it was an easy fight with a big name.

6 months is massive hesitation, it is far too long, far from optimal, especially when weight cut is not a thing. So the easily is bullshit.
 
Jon should retire then. He doesn't have to fight at all.... unless he wants to prove something. If he's active at HW that's the only reason in which case yes he does have to fight Tom

He didn’t fight Stipe for cheap. What are you talking about? He got paid the amount that he normally does. Fighting Aspinall would be fighting for cheap. There would be less PPV sales and it would do nothing for his career. But you don’t want to talk about that.

Yeah, there’s absolutely no way you know how Jones thinks. You sound like a complete, total weirdo saying that. Take a deep breath and go get some fresh air. Stipe brings more to the table than Aspinall. You know that. It’s just a matter of refusing to accept it, because this completely tears down the narrative you’re trying to push.

He might do exactly that. That’s his decision to make. As it stands right now, he’s within a pretty normal window of time to be able to make that decision. There are champions on the roster who don’t have fights, that last defended their title before him.

“Massive hesitation.” What does that even mean? Belal last defended his title in July of last year. Raquel Pennington’s last title fight was October of last year. Valentina’s was in September. Where’s the big uproar for them? Islam himself is going to be in the same boat Jones is in right now, next month. But the thing is, people have been crying about Jones for the past few months now. So realistically, it was like two months after he fought.

You guys are just a bunch of big crybabies. Big fight negotiations take time. The year is young. There’s plenty of time for a fight to be made, if it does happen. People are complaining about this more than they complained about Cruz sitting on his title for three years. I’m tired of the fake outrage.

He would, but the problem is Aspinall doesn't bring anything to get Jon the money he needs to make it worth his time and Aspinall continuing to sit on his ass scared to fight anyone isn't going to increase the chances. Jon would have a much bigger money fight taking back the LHW title especially if Pereira can get it back.
 
GTFOH Jones has way more reason to fight Aspinal, than Islam has reason to fight him. The more this guy talks, the easier it is to dislike him.

Islam already defended against a FW with no LW fights, twice - he doesn't want to fight another FW who's never been ranked at LW. He also already spoke about fighting at WW before Topuria became a possible opponent. He was literally booked to fight the #1 contenders (Oliveira and Arman), but they fell through at the end.
Tom meanwhile is an established top tier HW (more than Jon himself), and already was the #1 UFC HW when Jon handpicked Stipe as an opponent. Bad comparison.

Also four times at LW is the joint record (albeit against FWs twice and a short-notice Moicano). Four is a big deal.

Cheap when compared to the 30mil he wanted to fight Ngannou and reportedly also Aspinall. It's not hard to know what people think if you're familiar with their behavior. Everything Jon Jones does is public record so it's not hard to judge him by his actions. I'm not sure why that would be weird, people do it all the time when talking about public figures, their actions, and their motivations

Nope. I'm sure I make a lot less than JBJ, but I hold onto it because I don't get all coked up and run into pregnant women, or get suspended from my job regularly.
