Tom litterally has all of the advantages here. Jon Jones has become remakeably slower with dulled wrestling in his arsenal. I don't want to hear any excuses for tom aspinall when he loses to a 7 years post thiago santos Jon Jones.

If they would just pay Jones his money, he'd still be kicking ass in his 50s.

Stipe has no business being ranked. They literally pulled him out of a coffin and threw his remains into the octagon.

Bite your tongue, heathen. Stipe is an american hero and the GOAT UFC HW. I don’t give two shits that they propped up his corpse, weekend at Bernie’s style, for Jon to decimate. That version of Stipe still beats 3 or 4 guys in the top ten, sadly. Don’t blame Jon that the state of the HW division is utterly pathetic.

The division is not that great

People who think Aspinall is just flavour of the month have no idea what they are watching
I mean when I watch him I've never seen him fight for longer than a round or two or handle any adversity really. So no I'm not gonna just confidently pick him against a guy who has not really lost a fight in like 20 years against dozens of champion level guys.

He's also British and in 25 years watching mma I've never seen a British guy who could handle American wrestling. But Jones is old and shot and not dedicated anymore so who knows.

Not picking him against Jon is not the same as being flavour of the momth

If you can’t watch Tom and see he is clearly a special fighter (regardless of whether you think he will, or he does beat Jon) then you are probably wasting your time watching MMA

Jon's wrestling style ages pretty well in my opinion. He uses a lot of trips, and and is a master at pummeling. I do believe that Jones will show that he's a greater, more complete martial artist. I believe Jones will land takedowns and be able to hold Tom down. I think he'll under prepare and still look amazing. I also think it won't matter, Aspinal by Tko in round 3

But I was told in the last thread that Jones being 37 with a bunch of fight miles was a huge advantage.
