You know Pride had stupid matches too. Like Fedor as champ fighting Zulu. The difference is that those fights showcased the champs skill with a free highlight reel, and they would still defend their belts a couple times a year. If champs fought more it could absorb the time of these wasted fights, but a full 6 months before and after is brutal to wait.
