Is Tom ducking Jones now?

Jon Jones set a date and Tom and his father switched saying "nah Tom doesn't need to fight Jon Jones, JJ should vacate, he's just another bum in the shower" ... Well, Jon Jones set the date, but Aspinall did not like it? Then Aspinall should want Jon Jones to retire, like JJ actually said he would after fighting Stipe, as he would get the belt anyways. Or he would be happy with Alex winning so Jon Jones could go down fight Alex and he would get the belt for him.
What date did Jon Jones set? Stop with this revisionist nonsense. Jones versus Alex would have been a great fight but it is now lost its luster. Obviously Jones wants an easier fight. Jones needs to step up. He's the heavyweight champ. Fight! He's obviously one of the greatest of all time., and this is one of the greatest of all time fights to make. We've all had enough of Jones' nonsense at this point as well. I'm fucking tired of people rationalizing why this fight shouldn't happen.

Well, Jon Jones said he wants in 6 months. Seems you are scared Jon Jones actually accepts the fight and wants to believe at all costs he does not. Let's see.

Jon is telling you he doesn't want the fight. Why would I be scared he'd accept the Aspinall fight lol. It seems you are retarded and in too deep inhaling Jon's farts to see reality for what it is.

Date is 6 months from when the contract was signed. Do the math, 6 months from now.

Yeah you must have really been tired of saying the same thing over and over. We get it, man. It's not gonna like you're getting depressed and I'll because this is taking too long, right? Go out, touch some grass.

He then said in this same interview, later — "Me fighting Tom Aspinall will be like defeating Cyril Gane. In the end, it won't amount to much. " And then he said "yeah I absolutely would defeat Tom. The night we fight he'll be 7 years younger than me, heavier and I'll whip his ass like I've done to anyone who was the next big thing if not for me. Believe in the hype and I'll just keep doing what I always do, winning"

Oh yeah, 1 month later. Huge difference... So if JJ said 5 months it would be ok? Why not say "5 months limit for me" then?
One month seems like a huge difference to Jones, cause he's asking for six and not five. Maybe he's intentionally asking for a timeframe that's more than 1 year, knowing what Tom said, so Tom will take another fight and Jones can wait and see if Alex wins the rematch with Ank.

I don't know, either way Tom's being true to his word. He's the one who's been training and who's ready to fight. Since you're asking me to get in Tom's mind and answer questions for him, you can give it a try: Would Tom agree to fight Jones next Saturday, on the 29th? What do you think?

francis shouldnt have left but instead knock jones head if he was confident
declined the 8-14 million dollar offer to fight jones
i mean you have to be an idiot if you believe in fighters pay ufc africa and fighters benefits

Please post a copy of the signed bout agreement where Jones agreed to fght Ngannou?

Or post a direct quote from Jones saying he accepted the fight?

If not, how did Ngannou "decline" an offer?

<lmao>

What contract?

The contract for the fight. Jon Jones says from when it's signed, he'll take a 6 months camp if he fights Aspinall. Dana and Tom said that the contract is there too, the matter that's being talked is the date. And honestly, from what DC said, the UFC will make this fight and will give Jones the 6 months. I seriously doubt Jon Jones will fake an injury, or pretend something to pull out. When the contract is signed, Jon Jones never pulled out, only when usada would say he had things in his body that is not allowed and stuff.

USADA for some reason is gone now, and there's just been no testing and regulation like before. DDP for example, ofc I can't prove it, but looking at how much he grows each fight, while fighting at MW, and how sometimes his performances are lacklustre bit other times, like when he was a huge underdog vs Whittaker, he outright defeated him very quickly... Is also saying he will wrestle Chimaev and the plan is to show Chimaev first that his wrestling won't get close to what he thinks it will. And DDP isn't the kind of guy who's very active, he seems to legit choose some moments that the wind blows stronger... Like when he got injured before the match vs Izzy, had a draw pretty much vs Sean... Then defeated Adesanya in the 4th round, an Adesanya that looked way more like the Adesanya whom fought Alex rather than the one who lost to Sean... Then dominating Sean while showing a technical striking, while many times he fights like a maniac... Tough to prove, but it seems some kind of Jocko fuel drink has been allowed to be taken by fighters and even tho it may not go aligned with the UFC rules, it's being overlooked.

Now, I will keep skeptic and say that sometimes JJ has lackluster performances like vs OSP (who was in a good way streak and even later when older, gave some problems to Reyes, tho Reyes won convincingly) and still won all the 5 rounds vs OSP while looking more hesitant, less adept at getting take downs. Then the dominant JJ like vs DC appears or vs Gus 2 ... The he has some lacklustre performances that are still enough to defeat the last 3 fighters who were in line before vacating the LHW title. Gane was a KO artist with also submission wins, and was said to have a solid jiujitsu (not like Aspinall tho) and JJ goes in there and dominates him in a way that even Ngannou was shocked. Ngannou was hurt vs Gane, but he said before the Jones vs Gane match that he'd be excited and expected it to be a great match that he'd be tuned in to see. When JJ won like that, he seemed really surprised and I think besides a :000 reactions he didn't say more.

Vs Stipe it seemed already the Jones who isn't at his best (whether it's his lack of proper preparation, which is what is more ""correct"" to assume but chances it being some periods of training without the energy drink Jocko Fuel and then training when drinking that energy monster Jocko fuel coffee drink... Imo as a way to avoid tolerance, so it has a more visible effect after a time away from it. But if Jon Jones shows up there after the camping, I think he will very likely win. Or at least, be there believing he can absolutely win...

The 5 fans Jones still has can only resort to weird feminine kindergarten ass troll comments now to defend their boy

it’s ok guys everybody knows, you dont have to keep wearing the mask
Not a fan. I just try to look it at how I think is the most likely scenario. Or at least, to bring some alternative take which is not quite the scenario (such as this thread) but more as a way to see what ppl think of the situation with the hesitance to the 6 months wait...

Bro, there is no fucking contract. Yeah we've heard some terms Jones might want in the contract thrown out there, but that is a far cry from a contract. Accusing DDP of using steroids does not make a contract exist either. Seriously, WTF are you talking about?

Tom said after Blaydes that waiting a year would be worth for if it meant fighting JJ... A year from that statement would be August.

JJ wants 6 months, pretty much same time, 1 month later. But Tom and his dad are now saying "JJ is not special, it doesn't have to be him, I don't want to wait, I don't want to fight him in 6 months" ...

Well, so Tom is ducking? Lol. If he doesn't agree to 6 months, he'd be ducking. There is not a written rule on when, after the last fight (November), JJ should fight again, like, it must be less than 10 months (which would be 6 months from now), is there?

They might be worried JJ may take a pill or a drink that might make him sharper physically due to it helping with training longer periods of time with more effective results, perhaps... Well, if that's the case, make sure he is tested? Make sure of he has some medicine in his system aiding him to train and perform better? If he won't be tested, I think it's more than likely they'll give JJ the 6 months (which could be justified EVEN IF the intention is not to take some chemicals at all...) then it'd be up to Aspinall to take the fight. Btw, wasn't it said that no version of JJ could beat Tom? If that's it, then why just give up on even fighting Jon if he could beat the best performance young JJ, like the one vs DC 2 when he actually had substances?
LOL, I hope this thread is meant to be tongue-in-cheek or outright trolling. If it isn't I would suggest you take a self-imposed break from Sherdog for at least a month.
