If a fighter is not healthy to fight -- then UFC needs to move on with a fight within 5-7 months.

They can circle back if Tom sorts his vision out, and he might get Next Up depending on his health and Training Camp schedule.

No. After wasting a year and a half of his prime and having faced and traded with Pavlovich and Volkov he quit vs Gane because he was two jabs down and failed a single TD showing Gane’s elite eyepoke TDD.

Tom was getting fucked up in that fight and in deep water.

Absolutely yes he would, and he is. He got the green light to continue fighting by the ringside DOCTOR but opted to quit instead of taking his 5 minutes to recover. The hour long documentary he released of the night of the fight shows the doctors basically telling him there's nothing wrong and they're not sure why he " can't see"

And then it isn't until 2 months after the fight he comes out with a laundry list of problems with his eyes that don't make any fucking sense, after driving around the UK to 6 different doctors until he found one to corroborate his claims.

Then another 2 months later he's getting a completely unrelated Lasik eye correction surgery and trying to pass it off as fight related. The guy is a fraud.

He's had at least 2 rounds of surgery now, both eyes (though from what people can gather, relatively minor ones. More laser than incision)

Considering it hasnt been a full 4 months from the fight yet, I would like to congratulate Tom for not only getting multiple surgeries to back up his lie but also apparently even inventing time travel
