If Ankalaev runs through Poatan how do you think he would he fare against Jon?

First of all, I think Periera will knock out Ankalaev but if Ankalaev is as good as he's hyped up and bulldozes Alex I think he could be an interesting matchup for Jon.

Highly technical like Reyes but better at everything.

if he goes for jon, then his careers over cause it'll take like 5 years for the fight to happen and he'll be old by the time it finally gets canceled for good.

1. Reyes isn't highly technical.
2. Alex would fight a motivated Jon Jones. Not an unmotivated Jon. If you haven't noticed Jon always has his worst performances against his worst competition. And he has his best performances against his best competition.

Jon has his worst performances against tall guys with good tdd and technical skills.

How would a contender in a lower weight class do against the GOAT HW?

it would look exactly like the Gane fight, 1st round submission JJ

SORRY TS

I can see it end similar to gane vs jones. Alex has a similar style to gane but skinnier.

except Gustafsson
What?!?!
When Jon fought Gus the first time he was a nobody. The only reason Gus got the fight was because Jon best everyone else.

I'm exaggerating but still when Gus got his first TS he was a relatively unknown fighter.

Fedor, GOAT HW, is not involved here.
Don't besmirch Fedor's reality as the HW GOAT with Dana's protected boy Scumbag Jon.

Pico, through Dana, was given a decade long pass allowing HW cowardice, proving a UFC embarassment to the Real Men that fought with honor while Jones hid.

He destroyed Gus in the rematch who fits that's description. And understand the only reason the first fight was so close was that an unmotivated Jon severely underestimated Gus.
People will try and say that Jon has "bad" performances from trying to strike with top 5 strikers in his weight classes.

While not having their same power levels.

And still winning the fights or AT MINIMUM making it close and POSSIBLY losing by ONE round.

It's retarded. Your worst case scenario is Jon is a top 5 striker himself too. The reason he's still on top ain't luck. He legitimately can hang with anybody no matter where the fight goes and that's why it's so tough to even make it close. If you can't match or surpass him in one field he's still got the back pack pocket skills where he's also a top 5 grappler.
