What exactly do you think is transparent here? You think I'm some Democrat partisan because I think Trump is uniquely bad?

When I have 6,7,8 posts and more across numerous threads that ONLY criticize Trump over a 2 day span and then the first time I even bring up the Dems you pounce...what exactly do you think a logical person would deduce?

Trump would've done something else anyway.

To Trump, it's all just reality T.V. and it's all about the ratings. It doesn't matter if "the little people" get ground up in the gears, just as long as he gets his ratings share.

That goes for a lot of politicians, especially the career parasites.

Regardless of the motive, this whole thing can be a big win win. Even if only improves things marginally, improved border security is only a good thing.

As a bonus, for Canadians at least, the impending tariffs made people look at products made here. My Facebook feed was pretty much non stop people sharing locally made things to support.

And now their will be 10,000 mexican national guard at the mexican northern border establishing additional checkpoints inspecting vehicles on the main trafficking arteries leading to the legal points of entry. Sounds like a good plan for starters.

If you ask them they'll tell you its for a "better deal" though I'm skeptical that they could explain it further than that in a coherent way.

I explained it in another thread quoted above. If you ever go to the southern border, you'll see there are thousands of square miles that can be monitored by the additional troops Mexico is sending to their side of the border. Not only on the main arteries as I described above, but actually in the desert. They have aerial monitoring systems that can tell border patrol stations specifically where people are traveling, hiding, camping out, dropping off, etc. With the extra manpower, they can get to those people a lot faster than before. For one thing (of many), the extra manpower a huge plus in combatting the record gotaways seen under the Biden administration.

And you can't see why I'd be more than skeptical of your intellectual honesty when you call me a "faux centrist"?
