Diego Lopes absolutely worked Jean Silva - Looked worst than it actually was.

I like Diego, but he's a fucking moron if he thinks anyone competent is buying this. Dude scraped by with a hometown stoppage in a back and forth brawl that he was consistently on the wrong side of.
He's begging for that awesome chin to get cracked.
Did the first round just not happen in your mind?

Cliffs:

-Diego said, the punches didn’t hurt.
-said Silva was being overly confident and his punches were sloppy.
-Pressure was getting to Silva.
-said Silva was easy money
-said Silva fought scared and knew it was a matter of time before he would finish him

Lopes was maybe buckled once, but he was definitely winning the striking exchanges. Even with the one punch that Silva clipped him, Diego ate it and kept pressuring forward. I don’t think Silva was ready for that kind of pressur e you could see it in his facial expression when Diego kept pressing forward and sticking him with jabs. The last few combinations Silva threw at Diego before getting knocked down didn't land and were sloppy as shown in the gif below. Diego did a good job rolling with the power punches (although he ate a few clean ones like they were cupcakes) and slammed him down to the ground, continuing to ground and pound. Overall, I don't think Silva wasn’t expecting Diego to apply that much pressure, and typically what happens to fighters like Silva as I've seen so many times before is that they start wilting once they become the nail.

Diego said that it was an easy win. The idea that Silva was the favorite just because he beat the likes of Dober, Bryce, and Melsik is quite comical.

Had money on Lopez and he clearly won but why are we being childish?

He clearly lost the striking exchanges

Had that elbow not landed and he couldn't get it back to the ground he was in danger of getting hit with something big. I don't believe he was in no danger or it was easy.

David Loiseau dropped Franklin in one of their fight. It didn't mean it wasn't a one-sided drubbing. I picked Silva, but Lopes beat him handily. A second of buckling doesn't change that.

Silva’s shot also looked bigger than they were because Lopes’ hair would go flying even if a shot barely landed. It’s why most trainers make their fighters braid it if they want to keep their hair long.

TS is trying to hypnotize people into thinking this wasnt a wicked sick fight

mentok-mind.gif
he never said or insinuated that once

You watch the interview let alone the fight. I don’t remember Diego getting dropped by Silva
? I didn’t say he got dropped. I watched the fight. Lopez did heavy damage in the ground in rd1, striking was pretty even probably edged by Silva.

Silva was then smashing Lopez. Lopez then dropped Silva and finished with G and P.

I don’t know why you are making things up?
Lopez owned Silva and won by finish but he was getting outclassed in the feet. Lopez is a better fighter and proved it but why lie about the striking?

These guys need to fight again, fuck
Mazzagatti or Yamasaki as ref

Yes he did. He claimed the striking was one sided which indicates a one sided fight when it was extremely back and forth
nothing says that it cant be a wicked fight with that truth.

Fight wasn't long enough to call it "extemely back and forth" first round domination, second round finish.

silva did what he had too. he too a lot of damage fast and turned it into a dog fight. Which was the right thing to do for him in his position. He had his moments for sure, It was an awesome fight. but only half to 3/4 of one round was competitive.

Well the main problem is it’s not the truth.

And no, if someone dominates it is not a wicked fight.

Why play stupid?
I thought joanna vs penne was a wicked fight. I thought Cruz vs Garbrandt was a wicked fight. i thought TJ vs barao 2 was a wicked fight. I think they could all be called dominations.

I mean he made Lopes chicken dance for a second. So I call BS about the punches not doing anything.

That was a close fight, and Lopes' iron chin won him that. There were about 4 shots over the course of that fight that typically finish a fight. It was his day and he remained upright.
