Diego Lopes absolutely worked Jean Silva - Looked worst than it actually was.

I agree one sided fights can be good, this wasn’t one sided, this was amazing because of the twists and turns. Jean Silva was a live odds favourite during round 2 so I expect you to show me your bet slip with a 50k win if it was so one sided no?

There is no point discussing this though, because you are either a massive Lopez fan or a Jean Silva hater, you aren’t interested in objective discussion, you have some sense of ego attached to this even though you have nothing to do with the fight. To claim it was one sided is just trolling. Have a good one.

I predicted that lopes would win and in the first round he was beating him up badly. In the second round, I saw a desperate jean silva that was fighting recklessly and missing widely, despite this he had found a lot of success and stayed agressive before getting finished. the first round was not back and forth. Only the second round was.

I applaud silvas performance. he took a lot of damage in round one and fought with urgency to get it back. Just didn't work out or go on for very long.

first round was arguable 10-8 for Lopez.

Silva landed at just shy 50% sig strike accuracy in round 2 which is a very high strike rate statistically. He was landing very well.


None of this matters now, Lopez won clearly and violently, but I’m so confused by the tendency of people to rewrite the fight?

Well we're calling a fight with a 10-8 first round and second round finish a back and forth, that's why. It was a great fight. regardless.

Diego said it was an easy fight and was only a matter of time before he would have finished him. I was more impressed with Silvia’s face teeps than his actual punches

Calm down, it wasn’t as back and forth as you seem to think, which was the point of this thread. Watch the fight, then watch Diego’s post interview thoughts about it. He didn’t think it was much of a back and forth, he said it was an easy win.
 
Ha ha ha, what's he saying that the punches didn't hurt him? In the slow motion footage, you can clearly see that Silva knocked him out on his feet two or three times, but he just had a quick recovery.

see, this what i mean in my other post. in these 2 gifs, he's allowing Lopes to give up his reach advantage AND walking him into huge counters. he needed just a little bit more of that.
