I really do feel that lopes gets no respect, Like he doesn't have tons of banger fights himself. He's always there to entertain for the fans. sherdog was so quick to turn on him because he lost to volk. Glad to see lopes remind everyone how he got to the top. it wasn't an accident or favorable matchmaking.

I think people thought he shoulda walked through Dan Ige, and he had struggled a bit with him. They lost faith in him as a world beater.

People also thought Volk was done and if he couldnt do it there, he's not the next great thing, but to me thats all bullshit. He's a young guy and been jumping up in comp very quickly, and shown he can handle himself.
