I had a feeling that he might be the future of this division maybe iam wrong but we will see how he will perform against JDS Tomorrow night
No one will forget Khamzat and by the way his fight against Leon is rescheduled for January 20thMost exciting??? You’re forgetting someone View attachment 819369
10 years ago he was one of the best fighters in the HW division but now he is on a 3 fight losing streak but his losing streak is against Top contenders not against someone who is unrankedjds is a more exciting prospect
Most of the HWs have 1 KO punch but Stipe and Gane are moving like MW unlike the others they are moving a bit slowerHe's exciting, but there's drawbacks. He moves like a MW but has the punching power of one too.
After 5 or 6 years from now the time for Gane will come and even the youngest fighter in the roster his time will come after 15-16 years from nowI agree, He es a very complete atlet, He really like JDS but He es no the same, the time comes for everyone![]()
Same. I wish Junior had hung em up years ago. Those Cain fights took years off his life. Everything since then has only taken more.I imagine this will be the end of JDS ufc career
Agree. He's good but i don't think he should be that big of a favorite against a more powerful jds.I have watched his fights and he is decent but has a shit ton of improvement to do on his defence.
His power output is not on the Ngannou scale so his exposed chin (in most of his punching combos) is twice as bad for him to get clipped.
He can get away with a lot because of the shallow division but I'd favour Black Beast, Rozenstruick, Ngannou, Stipe and Tom Aspinall over him by K.O.
Volkov to beat him by decision. Tybura by decision.
He is a prospect and remains that (in my eyes) until he gets wins over those guys.
But this does not take away his potential. Remember his level of competition thus far.
I don't think youth matters at heavyweight. There's a reason the average top 10 age is high. They beat the newcomers regularly.
You should watch again because he never get touched. 73% striking defense in his UFC fights, and probably even more including his 3 previous fights in TKO.I have watched his fights and he is decent but has a shit ton of improvement to do on his defence.
This guy in his prime was a serious contender for baddest man on the planet.I like watching him as well. But it’s almost impossible to believe a Frenchman could be the baddest man on the planet.
That is a good stat but when you have 10+ fights in the UFC then that can change dramaticaly. You should watch again because he never get touched. 73% striking defense in his UFC fights, and probably even more including his 3 previous fights in TKO.
My favourite HW kickboxer of all time. Not the best, but up there and brought it, man. This guy in his prime was a serious contender for baddest man on the planet.

Yes small sample, and lower tier opponents. Still, he's elusive and seems to have a decent chin. That is a good stat but when you have 10+ fights in the UFC then that can change dramaticaly.
But that wasn't what I was alluding to.
He is wide open. Covering up or moving out of the way is a chunk of it, but throwing with hands down is not a small factor.
Let's see how it pans out.
Well Lebanner is just one guy. And yeah he was the shit. I didn’t even know he was French and I watched him from early in his career. and I still don’t accept that as fact. Lol.This guy in his prime was a serious contender for baddest man on the planet.

Khamzat is exciting and all, but Cyril Gane, with his fluid, smooth standup, MW - like speed, and burgeoning ground skills, and youth (!), is the most exciting prospect in the organization.
And given that he fights in what is frequently derided as the most shallow and decrepit division in the sport, his presence will give a much - needed kick in the gonads there also!
Hopefully my man Reem wins the belt and retires before Bon Gamin' gets him too!
