The reason Cyril Gane has little chance against Tom Aspinall

It;s a really good fight. Gane is good enough that Ngannou couldn't connect in their fight, albeit they trained together for years. Tom's punches are straighter, but he'll have to think about strikes coming back. We could see a situation where Tom gets frustrated on the feet before taking Gane down, like Ngannou did.
He'll have to get past the kicks to close the distance, in the first place, as well.

As I've constatantly stated, he bounced right back up to his feet, was on steadly legs, had his wits about him and started dealing damage right back. That would mean being knocked off his feet for a fleeting moment wasn't any kind of real danger or trouble for him.

That's not being in any "actual trouble." It's a flash knockdown with pretty much zero after-effects.
That was against Tai Tuivasa. The point is, if that happens with Tom, it will be game over.

Like the kick that Gane threw 30 seconds into his last fight that led to him being dumped on his head by a striker?

If Gane uses a gameplan that includes a lot of kicks he's basically gift wrapping TD's for Aspinall. And he will find out that being on his back vs Aspinall is far different than being on his back vs Volkov.

I never denied he was hurt by that punch. I responded to a post that claimed he was nearly finished, or was "asleep" by pointing out that no such thing happened.

None of that changed, because I looked at that video months ago when others were making the same claim about him being "almost finished."

I didn't tone down anything, as I've been saying the same thing about what happened the entire time.
Sure you didnt you illiterate moron ;)

That's completely irrelevant. I was addressing the claim that Gane was in any kind of trouble. Also, the point is it won't be over if Tom does NOT put him in any real trouble, so that makes no sense.

I've been saying all along that Aspinall should be favored and has the most and easiest paths to victory, so don't straw-man me because I point out the idiotic bullshit claims people like to make. Which is also stupid. If Gane sucks and is so awful, then Tom beating him, or even fighting him in the first place, does him no credit, at all.

Lots of Jones haters/Aspinall glazers in here that are probably coping about the eye poke now.
