It's the same system you have. Each state gets xyz dollars (which may be net loss or gain depending on the states) and they allot it plus minus federally controlled issues). Several states already had legislation to do it...they just didn't pass it. You should ask why California, Massachusetts, Colorado, NY didn't implement it

You fucking dolt, If the American empire goes down.. Canada goes down the drain with it our economy is incredibly dependent on the US. This is issue is made entirely worse than it ever needed to be because of Trudeau shutting down pipelines, blocking inter provincial trade, doing everything he can to stop development of LNG. Carbon taxes and regulations that chased billions of investment dollars and established business out of Canada.
Trump wouldn't be able to bully us like this if it weren't for this deliberate weakening. Trudeau fucked up he did this so that China could fuck us in the ass without realizing Trump could hop in line.

I think it comes back to Trump's narcissism and hatred for people that don't approve of him or that he can't hang with socially or intellectually.
Trump is a bully and a menace and a sower of chaos and division and an authoritarian. The truth is he just likes dictators more than he likes our allies and he knows he can't hang with our allies. He knows he can't go to a summit and really be with them hour after hour day after day and not come out looking stupid, weak, insecure or foolish.
He hates our allies for this reason.
I also think that him and his friends plan to capitalize on all of the uncertainty in the stock market. I think every time he wrecks the stock market for a few days his friends are buying up stocks and making billions.
I would love to see the stats on how many of his fake watches he's selling for $100,000 have been bought and also his meme coins because I think that's how they're paying him behind the scenes.
In general, I think that Trump and his wealthy friends capitalize on the instability and economic chaos that Trump is producing and he may be producing it just for that reason.
I also think he may be under the thumb of Putin either because Putin has emotionally and mentally manipulated him or because Trump is in some kind of danger with Putin through blackmail.
All of that's just conjecture. I just know that the reads Trump gives for the tariffs and for s******* on our allies don't actually track or make sense.
All I know is it's absolutely surreal to see Mexico's president and Canada's prime minister and other European allies holding press conferences like this and I can't imagine why anyone thinks it's funny or takes it lightly.
