Before you laugh react this post please explain why you think the Liberals are going to lead us out of this when they have failed on every metric on every issue for the last 9 years. These tariffs might not even be here if it weren't for this failure of a government. We are powerless to do anything to mitigate this as the liberals have made us entirely dependent on US trade.

Trump sees it as a win/win, he wants something or you get tariffed. If you don't do it they make money, if you do it he gets a win. How many countries have complained about the tariffs but folded and done what Trump asked for and he's canceled the tariffs? Most of them.
Other countries leaders are so used to yes men and high level political leaders all 'playing the game' it must be uniquely frustrating to have someone like Trump come in, turn the board upside down, then pick up the pieces and start putting them where he wants and telling you what the new rules are going to be. Well Canada doesn't have UHC it has 11 different SP systems; each ran entirely by each province (territories are federal). So it's more like provinces would still keep it and constituencies of liberal states like California, NY, Col.. will ask why the hell their states didn't offer SP to all residents
